Great location right in the middle of the city so not a far journey to any of the tourist attractions and plenty of restaurants and bars around. There is an original Czech restaurant in the same building too if you want to experience the local culture. Reception staff are absolutely fantastic and even allowed us to delay our check out with little notice. Would recommend.

I stayed in an 18 bed mixed dorm and I’m really glad it was only for two nights. It’s in a great location, but it’s tricky to find the place. Watch for the little sign at the entrance to a hallway that is shared by the hostel and a restaurant. At the end of the hall is reception. There is a lounge area here that consists of 2 chairs on a tiny loft overlooking a tiny room. It’s completely ridiculous and not at all functional. The kitchen is little more than a hotplate and a kettle. There is no fridge to store any food. The rooms are in a separate area of the building from reception, so you have to go back out into the restaurant’s hallway to get to your room. The room itself was disgusting. It stunk so bad and was REALLY dirty! The bunks are 3 high and are very old, as are the mattresses. The newest thing in the room were the lockers, and they were small and for essentials only. The bathrooms were very modern, surprisingly, but they frequently ran out of toilet paper and there were no hooks anywhere to hang anything. Definitely do not recommend this place.

The hostel is well located, near the old city and a 15 minute walk from the train station, but is poorly signposted - look out for the fat soldier figure on the sidewalk. Reception and kitchen are on the ground floor, sleeping areas on floors 3 to 5. It is a long climb to the top floor (100 steps) - no lift in this heritage listed building. Even then your climb may not be over; the bunks are triple deckers. WiFi is weak on the top floor but good on the ground floor. The bunks are comfortable but lack curtains. The kitchen is small but functional, it even has a good coffee maker. I found the staff helpful throughout. There is good security with keycard access to the accommodation section, individual rooms and lockers. The facilities are clean and well maintained.

Amazing stay here! The staff was very professional and kind, they are available for your questions and are very glad to help you for questions! The room is clean, new and it has AC, the bathroom clean, the locker very functional, free coffee! Everything's great, just one point to improve, the washing machine should be better organised because its a difficult to know when it's ready...

If you are staying in Prague, you need to stay at Hostel Orange!! It is mandatory. They are accommodating, personal, and overall the best. Also, there prices are amazing. You will not find a better deal in the whole city. Trust me!

Great hostel experience. The people in the lobby are very friendly and helped us get reservations and gave us a map to tour the city. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Of my 5 leg trip, it was my favorite hostel because of its charm.

It’s a very basic hostel, I don’t know where the high ratings come from as it is exceptionally average. We had one toilet, no shower on our entire floor for 20+ people. The rooms are tiny. It is cheap and the beds are comfortable, and has a very central location. The lack of showers was a big issue though. There weren’t many communal places and the kitchen was small with flies and for a hostel of its size the kitchen could only facilitate one person cooking at a time. The staff were lovely to us throughout our stay. The photos of the bathrooms advertised didn’t match our experience.
