It's a very nice hotel. A very warm welcome by the hotel reception. You have a choice of a lift or stairs to get to your room on any floor. The room was spacious and offered a shower and bath, fridge, air conditioning, and a fan. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were very good. Fruits juices, hot and cold continental style food, good coffee machines, fresh fruit, and various breads and cakes.
Walking distance is about 15/20 mins to the old town area, which was perfect for us. Taxi was approximately £3 (ridiculously cheap). There is the possibility of catching the tram, which is only 7 stops to the main Old Town area from the next street down.
There is no private car park. However, you can park directly outside the hotel with public parking. Parking is charged at £1 per hour from 08:00 - 20:00. From 20:00 - 08:00 it is free. In reality, it's £12 for 24-hour parking. The bonus is that weekends are free. Compared to a lot of other hotels in the area that want £25/30 a day, this is really amazing. There is a further option about 50 meters down the road, which is internal garaged parking. This offers private parking with cctv for approximately 18/19 for 24 hours. Weekends are not free.
All in all, it is a good location, polite staff, comfy room, easy parking, and a great breakfast. For the price you can't go wrong. From our personal experience, we would definitely stay there again.
