Look a little old. Breakfast is nice. But fair enough given on price.

Good value for money on New Year's Eve.
It's a shame that the style of the hotel is a little dated. It deserves to be refreshed.

Average hotel with fine rooms; however I would give breakfast 'lower average' level .If you come later in the morning, everything on the bar is cold and staff starts cleaning everything around you at 10.01 regardless of people still sitting and eating there.
Response from Property: Dear Judy, Many thanks for reviewing your stay. We are glad to read that you enjoyed our fine rooms. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back soon. With kind regards from Prague, Adela Nachtigal W. Sales&Marketing Manager

I was here with a group and I agree with what was written here. Generally very good option for a couple of days if you plan to be in the city or elsewhere. The room is big, comfy, the toilet is separated from the bathroom. All facilities present except for the AC which is a big problem over summer. The fan was not sufficient but we managed since the weather changed and was not too hot like the first day. Plus our room faced the back of the hotel, the big parking lot which was almost empty so had no problem opening the window or sleeping. The fridge was too hot and seemed not to be working although it had a back section which was cold. I did complain but was told that nothing could be done. Breakfast was plentiful and always refilled. All in all, a great option if the price is not too high. Our group price for 3 days was more that we bargained for, meaning I am sure we could not find anything cheaper and better in the city. I would go back again. It is a new and clean hotel with good breakfast unlike most European hotels of that range, so if you plan to spend most time in the city, this is a great option to spend a night. There is a Lidle shop up the hill, 10 minutes away. Buses and metro are on time so a quick way to the city is guaranteed.

This hotel is fine, but not fantastic. Not sure what the four stars stand for... It's a budget hotel and as such is not overpriced. The rooms are clean and spacious and perfectly fine for a short stay - there is a mobile fan and a hairdryer and plenty of storage space. The beds are comfortable enough and the every day room cleaning service is very good. The breakfast is simple, but nice and perfectly fine for a good start of the day. The reception is friendly and always willing to help you along the way. Airport taxi pick-up service is recommended (1000 koruna or 40 euros). Just a few things to manage your expectations: - bring earplugs and a facemask if travelling in summer. The hotel is hot and you will want to have the windows open. There is a lot of street noise and the curtains are not blocking the light properly, so 5 am wake-up is not uncommon. - the shower is placed in the bath tub. Certainly not convenient for the old/frail/very tall/unhandy amongst us. - the mini fridge did not work and was warmer than the room itself. - there is a bus stop closeby that will take you to a metro station, that leads into the city center. Make sure to get your public transport card before you get to the hotel, because there is no proper way of getting one at or closeby the hotel (the ticket machine 15 min walk away was broken upon my visit). Alternative: taxi or use the PID mobile app (which worked really well). - 10 minute walk to get to the Campus entrance. - Pass the hotel towards the tree hill and you will find a restaurant for a nice and affordable czech dinner.
Response from Property: Dear MGrug, thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. We really appreciate it and take all feedback into account. We are glad that you liked our convenient location, our clean and spacious rooms, and our good cleaning service, our helpful reception, and our breakfast. I can assure you that our hotel is a four-star hotel with international certification. Once again thank you for taking the time to write this review and for choosing Hotel Rezidence Emmy in Prague. I hope we will see you soon again! Have a nice day :). Many greetings from Prague. Sincerely, Adela Nachtigal Wurstova Sales&Marketing Manager

We stayed at this hotel during a bus tour and it was our worst hotel on the program. It is located very far from the historical center, on some kind of working outskirts and therefore is absolutely not suitable for exploring the city. The hotel is quite large, with crowds of people and somehow uncomfortable - neither outside nor inside. And the photos presented here do not really correspond to reality - everything is older and dull. The room was a normal size, we had it on a high floor with a beautiful view of the modern quarter of Prague (very far away). The beds and bedding are normal. The worst thing was hot water from the boiler and there was no time to wait for it to heat up either in the morning or in the evening. Considering that transit travelers who arrive late and leave early stop here, this is very strange - after all, there is no time to wait for the water to heat up. Breakfast was also disappointing - the choice of dishes is small, everything is not very tasty, there is no space, mountains of dirty dishes that they don’t have time to clean. On the positive side - a wonderful day spent in my beloved Prague. If you are tempted by the price, then I think that even for that kind of money you will find something closer to the center if you come to explore the city.

The hotel rooms are very old, poorly maintained, the toilet and the bathroom are in a separate place, there is a bathtub in the bathroom and the shower is broken, there is no sink to wash hands in the toilet, the floors are carpeted, there are no mosquito nets on the windows, there is no air conditioning in the room. The hotel rooms are very old, there is never wifi in the rooms. The lobby is very narrow. You can reach the reception from the room. It is impossible. The breakfast is not bad. There is no bar like a hotel for the elderly, the restaurant closes early. I think it is designed only for sleeping.

I lived in this hotel for about a week when I flew with a friend to Prague to celebrate the New Year at the turn of 2005-2006. The group's check-in into the rooms was relatively quick. We only had breakfast at the hotel, so I’ll say about it that it was quite meager. I didn't like the tables that wobbled and the plastic chairs. The hotel building was clearly from the times of socialism, but our room was good, fresh, it seems to me, after renovation. The sanitary facilities were separate. The room was clean. Everything in it was neat, and the furniture and fixtures were new. Our bed linen and towels were changed, it seems like once or twice and they were new. What pleased me: the rooms had very good soundproofing. The hotel is located in a residential area of the city and on one side there is a street, and on the other there is a parking lot (our windows looked out onto it). A little further on we could see a forest or park. There are many different medical institutions around the hotel, but there is a problem with cafes, and grocery stores too. In my opinion, a significant disadvantage of the hotel is that it is located very far from the center. You can get there from the center of Prague by metro, and then drive about 10 minutes by bus number 193. We timed it and the journey to Wenceslas Square took us about 30-40 minutes (the difference depended on how quickly the bus arrived). If we talk about the hotel, then it is a good, cozy hotel (only the tables and chairs in the buffet are not very good, and the breakfast is also poor). The cost of living was very attractive.

We stayed with the tour. Yes, they had clean rooms. But the Czech Republic is a very cold country and the rooms were not very hot. Breakfast is not for Turks. After all, there was a Turkish group inside, so the service could be offered, there were various products, but it was not for us.

Our company organized a two-day training in this hotel. It was a terrible place. The staff who greeted us was not nice at all, the hotel had a bad smell, the wifi only worked sometimes, the bathroom was not clean, but the worst thing was the noise of the minibar, probably a refrigerator from the communist era. I couldn't sleep well for the next three days, I could hear people talking in the hall. Also they locked the hotel door at 10pm and the bar was closed.
