Art House Apartments by Adrez Living

I booked a 3-night reservation (*******) for Sep 1-4, 2023. The apartment itself was great, with upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. Getting into the apartment using a street-level key pad was a nightmare. The reservation stated I would get a code 24-hours before arrival. Did not receive one until last minute before leaving the U.S., and upon arrival it DID NOT WORK. There was an alternate check-in hotel desk 5 blocks away -- I went there and got a new code which also did NOT work. My family and I were able to enter the building only as other residents were leaving, and let us in. (There was an emergency number posted outside with instructions in Czech, but no one answered the phone when I called repeatedly.) Fortunately, the original code worked on my individual apartment once I was inside the building. For the outside, that night we got another code via email which did NOT work. On our second day we got still another code via email which actually WORKED. It was fine from then on but I will never again rent a place that does not have a manned front desk.

Getting access to the apartment was a huge issue. When I rented it, they said I would get my access code and the apartment number a week before arriving. I started asking for it by email about that time, finally got one response that they would send my access code 24 hours in advance. I finally got it less than 24 hours in advance, barely before I left home in the U.S. Then upon arrival the access code did not work. Thanks to ******* whom I contacted earlier, there was an alternate check-in point I could go to. I went there and they gave me a new access code which also didn't work on the outer door. That evening, I could only get into the apartment when another residence was leaving, in fact two residents because of the outer door and an inner door. At least at my own unit the original code did work. The company had provided a telephone number both by email and at the outside door , with the telephone number that they never answered , although I tried repeatedly . By email I finally got a code that worked on my second day there. The apartment itself was very nice, with upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. But I will never ever rent an apartment without a front desk again.

We stayed in apartment 8 at the top of the Art House apartment building. We booked via Air BnB. Prior to arriving communication with 'Prague Resistances' who service the apartments was very good. Messages were replied to quickly and they also arranged with an airport transfer. The day before our stay we received an email with the code to get into the apartment building and details on how to locate our apartment within the building . Once we arrived at the Art House building we struggled to find out apartment. The instructions say that the apartment number was A11 and on the 1st floor. In fact we were in apartment 8 on the 4th floor. Luckily the building has a lift so we could get our cases up to our apartment. The apartment was very spacious, modern and comfortable. The bathrooms all worked very well and so did the heating. Its one of the best Air Bnbs we have ever stayed in. A couple of things that we had issues with were the noise in the evenings. The lift makes a very loud sound as it is going up and down. Plus there was a very loud party going on in another apartment until around 2am one night. I'd recommend bringing ear plugs. The apartment's location is fantastic. I'd definitely recommend the Art House apartments and would stay here again if we came back to the city.

For the most part, we had a good stay at Art House Apartments. The staff was friendly, responsive and accommodating. We were able to check out later - which was greatly appreciated! Unfortunately 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed, there was loud music being played (or a party) either within the building or the building next door - it didn’t stop until closer to 1am. The apartment itself is located conveniently near the Charles Bridge and other key central areas. It’s well equipped (the washing machine was a plus!). It gets quite hot in the summer (fortunately there were fans provided to us!). Beds were comfortable but the showers could be improved with non-handheld shower heads. There were quite a few flies when we first entered the room, but they disappeared by the next morning.

We are a family of five. We rented a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was as described and in a fantastic location. Check in was seamless. We had an issue with the hot water and someone arrived to fix it within minutes.

Thanks to the property owner, we stayed 3 nights in the Art house and it made my first visit to Prague very pleasant. The building is at least 200 years old with a rococo staircase (!) but inside of the apartments have been renovated nicely. When I read the reviews, I just realized that there are 2 different apartments to rent in the complex. Because I see an apartment with modern interior in the photos but the given apartment to us was with a little bit of antiquity inside; such as old fashioned murals and paintings on the ceiling which actually can be a little spooky at night! By the way, we liked the place. It was very clean with spacious rooms and 2 toilets. Also very close to the center and the Charlz bridge, nearby there are bars, grocery and cafes ...
