We stopped into the outside bar for a drink Sunday, June 5/22 at noon. After we found a table, the waiter came over, never said anything, and just waited for us to order. My wife had a aperol spritz and I had a 0.5l beer. The waiter said nothing, walked away, He brought our drinks, again saying nothing, we thanked him as he just walked away. After being ignored by this gentleman, we just wanted the bill. He brought it over, and just to let everyone know, this was our 4th day in Prague, and we knew prices for drinks. These were more than double for what we had paid elsewhere! Final bill was 298.00 CZK. After being poorly treated, I decide to leave 0 tip. I put 300CZK on the table, and the waiter tapped on the bill indicating a suggested tip of 10%. I laughed, tapped on the part of the bill that indicates "Suggested" tip, and proceeded to get up when he tapped it again and turned to challenge me! Being a 65 year old, and having truly enjoyed our other time in Prague, for the 30CZK, he could have his 10%. He swept up the money and left! We gathereed our things and left the bar! Use this to be warned about this bar, go around the corner and be treated properly!
