Quaint, quirky,spotlessly clean & comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful varied & delicious, great for setting you up for a day’s sightseeing. Perfectly situated for getting out & about & exploring Prague easily on foot or catching the tram or metro to explore further afield. Bars & restaurants in abundance within a stone’s throw. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is in a great location central to most areas, on arrival it appears very dark and old fashioned but it’s part of its character, rooms were decent with air con, fridge, kettle etc fresh towels and shower gel daily , the breakfast was excellent and worth pre booking.

Lovely quaint hotel in quiet area. Given Room 301. Really spacious. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast had good selection. Great central location close to all main attractions. Only thing is only 2 English channels on Tv but wouldn't put us off staying here again. Shower had great power and no issue as seen on other reviews. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel was central and very convenient for Prague's excellent public transport. It was old fashioned in a good way and felt safe and friendly. The other guests were mainly couples and friends; I didn't get the feeling that party crowds stayed here We had a nice quiet room at the back. The bed was super comfy and the room was spacious and very cosy. The cleanliness of the room and premises was superb. We loved the excellent choices for breakfasts, including fresh fruit, and the serving time (7.30 -10.30). The staff we met were very friendly. I'm really pleased that we chose to stay here. I'd stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

A gorgeous old style hotel right in the heart of Prague with a welcome & a breakfast as big as the hearts of its lovely people. From the moment I first arrived there was a wonderfully friendly vibe all round. My single room might have been small, though everything I needed was there, but the welcome was massive as were the buffet breakfasts. Apologies to the restaurants of Prague but most days I could fuel up for a day's exploring and return shattered to my bed having not managed to burn off all the calories l'd taken on at breakfast. The room may have been small but the bed was so comfortable some mornings I didn't want to get up even after the bells of Prague's nearby churches had roused me from my slumber. Shower perfect. All other room facilities spot on. Size wise I might have preferred more room but no grumbles there apart from maybe the television which lacked any English channels. Then again I only really had it on for company.

18th century hotel. so the plumbing is not great. .choose your time for a hot shower carefully. location .breakfast great. lift only to 3rd floor . if you are on the 4th floor walk up 1 flight. to get in after dark use the side door on your room keys. said all of that this is a really good hotel location wise. and the room and hotel is clean and tidy v good price wise. 2nd stay and would def come back .

Staff were extremely friendly. Basic but very clean hotel. Great value for money in a great location. Breakfast was included in the price and it was fine. Only possible downside is that there was not always somebody on reception but we had a great experience

Breakfast was great! Good location, very quiet. Bed harder than a rock! No hot water until you run it five minutes. I wish someone would have told me that. What I didn’t like is I specifically chose this hotel because it advertised 24/7 reception. There was only someone during the day. What if I would have had an emergency during the night????? That really concerned me as a foreign tourist.

Excellent location, great customer experience! You feeling very welcomed! Nice breakfast, 24/7 service support. Very professional and pleasant stuff. We had a nice room on the first floor, very comfortable, clean and cosy. I love the lounge area - amazing atmosphere. Coffee and tea with some small sweets are available at the reception. The location gut great - calm street in the middle of the city.

This is a very nice local hotel in Prague. It is clean and only a very short distance from the town square. The beds were comfortable and they serve a good breakfast in the morning. The only problem I could see was a very small elevator. (one person and one large piece of luggage) There were 4 of us. The air worked sufficiently and the staff was superb. I would stay there again.

Hotel was clean and receptionist was very friendly. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the old town square and also around 5 minutes from wencaslas Square so good location. The room was very big, the decor was a bit dated but that doesn't bother me. Didn't have a lot of noise in the night. The breakfast was OK for the price point Only gripe is that there is no one on reception until 10am and no one after around 6pm which would be concerning if I had any questions or an emergency. This also makes it difficult to check out if no one is on reception until 10. Overall a nice hotel and would recommend for anyone staying in prague

A really nice hotel. The hotel is of older date and furnished in an old-fashioned style. The staff at the hotel, are super friendly and helpful, and everything is clean and tidy. Their breakfast buffet is also really good The cleaning is top notch. The location is absolutely perfect, you have a 4 minute walk to Old Town Square and to Charles Bridge. Here you get full value for your money, and the hotel is really cheap, considering that you live in the middle of Old Town. My girlfriend and I, will definitely return to this hotel, the next time we visit Prague. A big thank you for a lovely stay. Edith & Johnny (Denmark).

I stayed here Feb 2023 and found it a lovely hotel in a great location. Some forum posts recommend not staying in the Old Town due to noise and crowds, but in Feb it was great. The hotel is old and charming (IMO) with super-nice staff whose English I appreciated b/c my Czech is rather non-existent. Front desk was really kind and helpful w directions and tram info; cleaning staff quickly replaced my hot-water kettle when it didn't work. My room was a bit dark but good lighting, very clean, and great showers. The beds are hard, as other reviews have said, but that's the style in this country. I loved that I could turn down the heat at night plus open the window. Rooms have hot-water kettle and small fridge, which is great. Only issue was that walls are thin so I heard people in the hallways and next door some, but that's why I travel with earplugs and they quieted down. My room was on the 3rd fl and quiet. I overlooked a schoolyard so could hear kids in the afternoon, but it's happy noise :-). Location is right in the Old Town which I liked b/c it was easy to come back to warm up during the day or drop off a purchase and head out again. Also, I thought the breakfast was fabulous, with options for most nationalities -- hot eggs or cold meat/cheeses or yogurt and muesli or fresh crusty bread rolls or sweet cakes. It took some restraint to only eat once!

Absolutely loved this hotel. The room we had had tall ceilings, coffee and tea, extremely well heated, but windows could also be opened. Clean and efficient, and above all, excellent location to visit the Old Town on foot. Quiet street. Warm and friendly staff. The decor is "old world" if you like this kind of charming velvety ambiance. Good breakfast and super affordable. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shopping all around. Great place.
