One time yes, next time not. Starting over with the staff, they are incredibly incapable of understanding issues. Streamlined questions yes, but when it comes to exceptions, they are incredibly incompetent. Upon arrival, my room was not on the requested floor, the room itself not fully prepared, safety box not working at all, the hair dryer was breaking quite often due, the minibar was not refilled, the equipment in the bath room not properly fixed. The mounting of the shower in the bath was loose and the checkout procedure despite being StarTraveller more or less complicated. For a business traveller not suitable at all, because the staff is merely incompetent. This is not a Eurostars as I know it from other countries. Not mentioning that my stay has still not been accounted to my Star Traveller account, not did they send me any request for feedbacks yet. The hotel itself looks like a 1940/50s commie building, flat white walls, feeling like a sterile hospital for mad experiments. Not lovely, nor inviting at all. Very cold atmosphere. Breakfast was "ok", nothing special, but all you can find to satisfy a hungry stomach. Far away from a tasty breakfast demonstrating quality. However the fruits, fresh oranges and melons were nice. In total quite disappointing. Some travellers might be more "forgiving", but referring to Eurostars quality I would not call this a "Eurostars", because it simply does not fit this group, nor did the Thalia fulfil the requirements of travellers expecting high quality. A non-reachable Duty Manager topped that bad rating and a non-mininar refill makes it even more worse, when it comes to comfort. To be honest: One time was enough already, I expected more, there are better hotels in the 4-5 Stars range in Prague. I am in fact looking at details. Some of you may appreciate an "ok"-feeling, but this is not comparable to i.e. known 5-Stars brands in Prague at all. Too bad...
