Awful experience If you want to ruin a birthday gift, choose this hotel. If you want to face harassment and complete lack of basic amenities, choose this place. I booked a standard room in advance. The hotel is rated 3★ and has 8/10 on Trip.com, but the reality was shocking. The “standard” room for 92 USD/night looked like a hostel: no drinking water, dirt everywhere, and extremely poor bathroom hygiene. There were dark hairs on the sink and in the shower tray, and even a half-used toilet paper roll left by previous guests. The cleanliness level was unacceptable. I immediately contacted reception. The receptionist insisted this was a normal standard room and said “this is how it is in Prague.” He couldn’t explain why the room didn’t match the photos shown on Trip.com. I asked for a refund or an upgrade (even with extra payment), but I was told it was impossible because there were “no available rooms.” That night was sleepless: constant corridor noise, knocking, loud conversations, no air conditioning (only an open window on the first floor), no mosquito nets, terrible mattresses, and completely flat worn-out pillows. Worst of all — there were bed bugs. Bed bugs in 2026 in a “standard” room for 92 dollars. In the morning another receptionist claimed he knew nothing about the situation and said I could have been offered another room. This led to a conflict. During the argument I was subjected to rude and humiliating comments based on my nationality - was told I have a “Russian communication style” (in a clearly aggressive way). The hotel is also misleading guests by posting attractive photos that do not match the real standard rooms. My complaints were not properly acknowledged. Only after escalation I was offered another room in Abeba+ hotel (most likely the rooms shown in the booking photos). In the new room I finally had air conditioning, drinking water, normal pillows, clean renovation, new furniture, clean bathroom, stable Wi-Fi, and no bed bugs proving the first room was simply unacceptable. This experience ruined a big part of my birthday gift and left extremely negative impressions. My advice: before booking in the Czech Republic, always check Google Maps reviews. Everything I described is already mentioned there. Checklist of issues (3★ hotel expectations): Bathroom hygiene — unsanitary Drinking water — absent Hygiene products — absent Hair dryer — damaged and unsafe Wi-Fi — not working at night Cleaning — extremely poor Breakfast — low quality (spoiled eggs, very limited options) Avoid this hotel

A good hotel for the money, excellent breakfasts and pleasant reception staff.

The bed mattresses are really hard, so it’s not comfortable for me to sleep. The shower holder is broken, and the sink keeps getting clogged. And there is bedbugs my whole hand is itching right now.

This js really bad hotel, i dont recommend this to anyone. There were bedbugs and my friend got bitten, and staff is really really rude, they didn’t provide any help they just didn’t care.

Literally my worst experience, there were bedbugs and the staff is literally the worst. They were rude and umpolite. I got bitten by the bedbugs and they weren't even giving me the medication for the treatment until my friend demanded them. Basically dont visit this hotel this is the worst

This is one of the terrible hotels i have ever been. The staf?? They are really rude and they wont help you with anything. They are impolite. And what is more important there were bedbugs in 2 rooms and they were dirty, rooms are dirty and when my friend got bitten they didn't say anything they just didn't care. And also they said: "let's all hope that she doesn't die" that is rude and really unprofessional

The Wi-Fi simply did not work for the duration of my stay and to be honest the best was a bit hard and uncomfortable two small duvets. Looked nice overall.

We stayed here 4 Nights, the place is clean all though it doesn’t need a little maintenance in the rooms. the staff is kind. It’s close to the metro making it super easy to get to the centre. The reception is open 24h so any issue is solved right away!!

Very bad experience, I do not recommend it to anyone. Although it was located near the area where we wanted to stay, this Hotel is a fiasco, from the dirty carpet in the hallways and the room, to the bathroom with wet towels, the bed as hard as a rock and two half-stuffed pillowcases that are supposed to be serve as a pillow. We lost more than $250 because they refused to return the money.

Horrible!! Well this was not a hotel Ive booked by myself and it was a complete disaster. Arrived by bus and the first sight outside gave me a real bad reaction. Complete mess at the reception by arrival. Rooms - well think back at the 60-70ties . We had 3beds , ok two of them was soft and the third hard like a stone . The train was passing by every 3 minutes between 5.30 and midnight. Bathroom - fint know when the shower has been properly cleaned . But plus for the toweldryer (maybe thats why it has 3*? Breakfast - when coming down the stairs you heard the high noise level and it was even worse in the breakfast room. Breakfast was really poor and only one of 3 coffee machines was working. I dont agree that its close to the old city., walking distance at least 2,5 km.. If taking the underground its ok but you have to walk long distances . No taxis/cabs are available on streets without having an account at Bolt. (cab company in Prag) Can Never recommend this hotel .

Not far from Krizikova metro station (5 minutes´ walk), other means of public transport available in the vicinity as well. Great value for the money - big and cosy room with a small fridge. Good breakfast. Nice staff, reception desk open 24/7, late check-in was no problem. A bar on the groundfloor. Only one lift. The room was a bit noisy as I could hear voices from the neighbouring room. Only basic toiletaries. Otherwise a great place if you do not want to spend all day long in the room.
