Prague Prague 2 Hotels

Wonderful stay we had in a charming 40sm appartement. Perfectly cleaned, soundproof and amazing thermic isolation. Regarding the location is perfect for a typical local experience far from the OVERCROWDED central streets and main sightseeing but easy and fast connections by metro and tramway in 20min max. The staff was very kind specially a young guy upon check out time on our last night (Saturday 4th Nov). We'll stay absolutely here for our next trip to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. We highly recommend to assist to Opera concerts as they're very cheap comparing to western European countries.

This place is just dirty. The carpet flooring is thin and shaggy. The bathrooms are tiny––there is no storage for any toiletries so you basically need to keep everything in your bag. There was mold in the bathroom near the shower area on the ceiling. The shower head was dirty. When I arrived, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was making a hissing noise, so I decided to take a look at it. I unscrewed the front cover, and it railed thick dust all over the bathroom. The cleanliness is really disappointing, especially when a lot of these issues could be fixed with more thorough cleaning and some preventative maintenance. Other than that, the rooms are small. The twin beds in the rooms are so close, it may as well be one bed. The cabinets and shelving are built in, and they make the room feel really cramped. Overall, the whole place is pretty bad. Nothing about it is pleasing or enjoyable, and the pool comes at an extra fee. The place earns an extra star because the location is great, and it provides a great jumping off point to see the beautiful city of Prague. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in a lot of different countries. I'd say this is the worst one I've seen. I'm sure you can find a fairly comparable place that actually cleans their rooms.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and the services offered were excellent. Everyone was nice and available at any time to help us. When we arrived they gave us a map of the city and a list of restaurants, plus buses timetables when we asked. Breakfast was delicious and the variety of foods offered was great. It is about 10 mins from the river and from one of the yellow subway stops. Definitely recommend.

A very nice house. The rooms are a little smaller, but there is a window to the indoor courtyard. Unfortunately, the doors of all apartments quiet, very unpleasant/sudden. Why not remedy this problem (simply smiding oil to the mechanics) is a mystery.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Croatia by car. The room was big and suitable for all 4 (2 adults and 2 daughters 16&19). We made a very late booking and also had a ferry delay but the staff made all the arrangements for a smooth late checkin and also the parking for the car. The hotel is centrally located with walking distance to the center. Would absolutely recommend the hotel, especially for the serviceminded staff.

La struttura in se è valida, la camera era pulita ed accogliente. In un luogo freddo come può essere Praga avere un impianto di riscaldamento efficiente è sicuramente una nota positiva, ed era questo il caso, soprattutto per la presenza dei doppi infissi. Letti e cuscini morbidi e caldi. La doccia nel bagno era di quelle con la tenda di plastica, un po' stretta. Nel bagno della mia stanza NON c'era il bidet. Nella mia stanza mancava anche il frigo, non so nelle altre se ci sia. Per tenere le cose fresche di inverno consiglio di mettere tutto fra i doppi infissi o fuori dalla finestra direttamente. Si terrà tutto molto fresco. I punti negativi di questo hotel, per la mia esperienza sono stati due: 1. Avevo la colazione inclusa; la prima mattina ne ho usufruito e purtroppo ho trovato della muffa in una delle torte... ho fatto notare la cosa alla signora in sala (in inglese) e mi ha risposto in ceco (perciò non ho capito) portando via il piatto in modo un po' infastidito, potrei aver frainteso. 2. Siccome io non capisco il ceco e la sera avrei voluto guardarmi Netflix, mi ero portato la mia Fire Stick TV di Amazon da collegare all'HDMI... purtroppo il telecomando della TV era stato sostituito con uno NON provvisto del tasto per cambiare la sorgente video, in modo tale che le funzioni della TV fossero limitate... sono andato a chiedere informazioni alla reception e mi è stato detto che io non ne avevo diritto non essendo in una camera ”comfort”... il problema è che io da Trip.com non vedo questa classificazione, non mi pare di aver la possibilità di poter scegliere questa cosa (ho provato a fare una finta prenotazione per vedere se potessi scegliere, ma niente)... perciò ho dovuto rinunciare anche a questo. Ricapitolando: Se trovate un offerta di una stanza a basso costo, e volete visitare Praga ed usare l'hotel solo come posto dove dormire senza troppe esigenze di comfort allora questo posto fa per voi, la pulizia della camera c'è, i letti sono comodi e si dorme bene. Considerate che se non parlate ceco e avete intenzione di guardare la TV con la vostra smartTV portatile, dovete prendere la camera ”comfort” che a quanto pare da Trip.com non si può scegliere (?), altrimenti fate finta che la TV in camera sia assente. Se nel momento in cui prenotate vedete che la prenotazione SENZA colazione vi costa meno (non è detto che sia sempre così) allora preferita quella! Non considerate nemmeno l'ipotesi di fare colazione qui, anzi vi consiglio di andare da ”patisserie Vanille” a pochi passi dall'hotel.

Breakfast is awesome.While we are stating in the hotel,that was the best part of hotel for us.I even could say that I wanna go back there due to good quality if breakfast. Also,room was clean and I like the antique style room:)

The hotel is located in the south of the center of Prague, during the day tram 23 goes to Prague Castle. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the National Museum, which is more convenient. In the old city area, the street environment is relatively beautiful, and the law and order are good. The exterior decoration of the hotel is very luxurious, but it is old. The overall facilities of the standard room are relatively old, and the lighting system is dim. The overall cleanliness of the room is good, but the bed is not very clean. Service is average, Czech hotel staff are not very welcoming. Generally speaking, it is a good choice for short-distance low-consumption travel.

The hotel staff was kind and helped me with any questions I had. The hotel is clean and tidy but not at a very high standard, for me it was enough. The location of the hotel is excellent - next to a metro station and a station of several tram lines but the truth is that the main square and the city center are a 15 minute walk so I didn't always use public transport, on the other hand the hotel was not in a very central and noisy place. The hotel had the option of a simple breakfast for some extra cost, but I preferred to eat in local cafes. Unfortunately the air conditioner did not work and it was a hot day. I didn't talk about it with the hotel staff because I wasn't in the hotel most of the day and it wasn't the peak of the heat. It is important to note that in order to get to the elevator and from the elevator to the room there are stairs that may be difficult for older people.

The Amigo is a solid hotel in a pretty central location. It is very near Vysehrad and the IP Pavlova metro station. It is on a busy main road, but the double windows are good at reducing the noise to a minimum. My single room wasn’t huge, but it was well appointed, super clean and well maintained. The heating and AC worked well. The bathroom was spacious, modern and also very clean. Breakfast was quite pleasant and the selection decent, with all the basics one would expect laid out as a buffet. The reception staff were friendly when I check in late at night, but seemed more interested in chatting to each other when I checked out in the morning. The hotel isn’t really a 4*, probably more of a very good 3*, but the nightly rates reflect that. I would definitely not describe it as “luxurious”, but if you lower your expectations slightly you'll be pleasantly surprised.
