Hostel Little Quarter

I will first write an objective review. At the end I will give you a good story about my trip and this hostel. The good - The mattresses on the beds are the best I have had in a hostel. Top quality - The property is beautiful and well maintained - The shared rooms are big and well distributed Not so good - Internet connection is unstable - The rooms overlooking the front of the building can be noisy if there are people outside in the street downstairs - The terrace closes at 10pm Neutral - The location. I read previous reviews about the hill and distance from the city. I did not find the hill too bad. Distance from the city is worth it if you like to stay in a pretty area. - I did not try their food. Only coffee and it was good The promised true story I’ve planned a last minute trip to Prague. I made a mistake when making the hostel booking. It meant I lost my reservation. I did not realize about my mistake; I became the most horrible customer you can imagine. The staff kept being polite over email. They went above and beyond to help me – even though I kept being unreasonable. I arrived late, tired and grumpy. I was met by Francesca and the manager. To my surprise, they were welcoming, warm and helpful. Yes, this is a great property to stay. The hostel is clean, comfortable, well located. The reason why I recommend it is because of their exceptional high standards of customer service.

Hostel orange couldn’t of been any better for us. Before arriving hosts got in touch to confirm time of arrival and made sure we knew our way to the hostel. On arrival we were greeted at the door by the most friendliest guys. They gave us the most helpful insight into the city (including maps, directions great recommendations). Room and bathroom cleanliness 10/10, with very comfy beds! As a group of 7 girls, felt totally safe. Plus hostel location was just perfect, super central & super easy to find.

This is a good place, very close to the train station, a few minutes away, not far from the old city, very convenient to stroll. Some beds are not going to bed, it is more comfortable to live, the kitchen is in the room, it is very convenient to burn a hot water. Overall satisfaction.
Hostel Downtown

The location is excellent, 3 minutes from the nearest subway station and 1 minute from the tram station. But there are more beggars downstairs, and girls need to be careful when traveling alone. About 800 meters away from the old town, there are many restaurants downstairs, and there are also big supermarkets such as billa and tesco. The hotel has different social activities every day, and you can meet new friends. The equipment is also very complete, with a large kitchen, a mailbox and a computer. There is a fan in the room and the equipment is simple.
A Plus Hostel - Centrum

Location is great, but a big confusing to get to. The large sign outside of the building doesn’t actually say the hostel name (A plus). It says something else. The woman that checked me in and out was friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a “private” room but the toilets and showers were still shared, which was one of the purposes of me getting a private room…. This wasn’t made clear before booking. The floors were not cleaned, and my room was not cleaned in the second day (I stayed two nights). The toilets and showers were ok, but should be cleaned. When I was there, they weren’t “dirty”, but didn’t look like they’d been cleaned in quite a while. The common area was just a bunch of tables and chairs and there wasn’t much socializing going on. When I walked in, there’s was one guy who was taking a nap. That was it. There is a cool old-school elevator that works from the first floor, which is fun. Not sure why my room was as expensive as it was considering I could have stayed in an actual hotel for relatively the same price. Overall this wasn’t a bad place to stay, but definitely not worth the price.
Ahoy! Hostel

Ahoy! hostel was super fun, super social, and very comfortable!!! I went with my cousin, and also met a bunch of solo travelers and groups of friends. We hung out with people in the common room and made new friends every night, and the frequent, well-advertised nighttime social plans made it easy and fun to explore Prague night life. The location is amazing, right in the center of everything and around great restaurants and bars. Only reason I docked a point was because I did laundry and some of my clothing came out with stains. Also, the stove somehow locked a couple times, and I had to use one downstairs. Above all, great experience––I'd totally come back!
