"Incredible property and staff however the pool bar music for “happy hour” was intolerable. This noise issue was compounded by the restaurant next door that also has loud music and yelling. I can’t in good conscience recommend this hotel for those looking for a relaxing stay."

"I booked this boutique hotel for my husbands 50th birthday and everything about it was just perfect 😍 the staff, the views and the location! Not to mention the fresh food, which is mostly grown in the grounds, I don’t think I’ve ever tasted such amazing cucumber. Our flight was delayed meaning we didn’t arrive until 10.15pm, the staff kept in touch with me the whole time, via watsapp, to ensure that our check in was a smooth as possible as they would not be around. They even suggested a restaurant just up the hill where we could grab some food on our late arrival, I can’t remember the name but the food was lovely. The staff go above and beyond to help you and their service is 5***** The amalfi coast is just breathtaking and the views are out of this world! If we were to ever go back, villa gianlica would without a doubt, be our ‘go-to’ place."

"We had an amazing stay! We traveled with our two boys. They really enjoyed the pool. The views from the balcony were breathtaking! We loved how clean and organized everything was in the apartment. Just AMAZING! Not a lot of stairs to get to the apartment which is a big plus! Roberta was great! Very good communication. She helped organize car services which was super helpful. She responded very quickly to my messages! Just WOW and amazing experience from beginning to end! 10/10!!"

B&B la Barbera

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at B&B La Barbera. The check in experience was warm and attentive. The room is spotless, very clean and fresh, with a great bed and beautiful linen. And the view. Wow, the view. Absolutely breathtaking, from the large terrace adjacent to the room, with hot tub, small table and 2 sun loungers. Sylvia and the team were very helpful with suggestions, be it restaurants in Praiano (there area lot of good restaurants), exploring the area or travelling to Amalfi, Ravello or Positano. The breakfast is also marvellous and plentiful (each guest can choose from a very wide variety of options). And my wife and I enjoyed a great aperitivo every night on our terrace. As for the location, I initially had second thoughts about choosing Praiano as a base for exploring the area, fearing it would be remote. That is absolutely not the case, and in fact it has its advantages - it is quiet, quaint, and the buses to and from Positano are less crowed (vs those travelling the Positano-Amalfi route). It was also a perfect base from which to hike the Sentiero dei Diegli (a must do if you want to do a memorable hike)"

"We were recommend to stay at this hotel in Praiano ,which is the sister hotel of the Onda Verde Hotel by a good friend who was there a year ago . They had a wonderful time so we thought we would give it a try . It is located between Amalfi and Positano. We loved every minute of our 4 day stay ! The family owned hotels are actually connected together sharing the same reception area ,restaurant and amenities . Our family had two rooms which were very nice and both had terraces with stunning views. What we loved about this place was it was a small hotel run by the owners and their family members. The breakfast was delicious with an assortment of items to choose from . They had a chef ready to prepare any kind of egg dish we wanted and the pastry table with an assortment of freshly prepared items were all very good ! We had dinner there the night we arrived and our last night at their restaurant Franchino’s which was well beyond our expectations! Every thing was delicious and nicely presented . They were some of the best meals we had during our 4 night ,5 days stay in the Amalfi Coast . They arranged water taxis for us to go to and from Amalfi and Positano, private boat tours of the Amalfi Coast , and recommend restaurants for lunch and dinner . We stayed at 5 star hotels in Capri, Sorrento, and Napoli and enjoyed our stay at this family run hotel the best ! We highly recommend this hotel and the Onda Verde ."
