"I had the pleasure of visiting Kosovo to speak at a conference, and stayed at the Emerald. Regular readers will know that I am not normally someone that gives our great ratings to be generous – I just don’t think that’s useful for readers if they’re not aware of potential downsides. But I literally could not find anything wrong with this place. (I mean, the traffic in Prishtina is fun, but that’s not the hotel’s fault). More than that, there are several plus points. The staff were fantastic – uniformly helpful and attentive even when I was being daft, and with better English than mine. The hotel has some great facilities – the business conference was on site – and a great couple of bars and even a fab looking pool (sadly I had not bought my trunks). The room was a generous size – at least a queen bed, as well as a desk and sofa – the wifi worked better than many other places I’ve been (Saudi, I am thinking of you), and although there wasn’t an ironing board in the room, it arrived with record speed when I asked for it. Honestly, I just really liked this place. It’s a short hop into the City centre as well (albeit not always a quick one! 😊 ) and well placed for the airport too. I hope I get to go back again."

"Poor Service and Disrespectful Treatment – Disappointed This was honestly one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve had in a while. From the start, the service was extremely lacking. We had to ask for everything – salt, oil, napkins – even the most basic things that should already be on the table. It felt like we were constantly chasing down the staff just to get the essentials. What made it worse was how they handled seating. When the place is full, they act like it’s impossible to accommodate you outside, even though there’s space. But when it’s empty, they’ll practically pressure you to sit where they want. It’s a double standard, and it felt really disrespectful. Overall, it was not a pleasant atmosphere, and we left feeling more annoyed than satisfied. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it – there are plenty of other places where you’ll be treated better and get decent service without having to beg for basics."

"Besides the fact that there is nothing to do in the close facinity of the hotel besides one shopping mall, it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and quiet, breakfast was nice, staff was friendly and gym was decent. The bed was not the comfiest and we were missing soap from our bathroom which was wierd, but a minor detail. Overall a very nice place to stay! As the sauna and an outdoor pool area were under renovations we had to settle with the hot pool at -1 level. It was like a huge bath to be honest."

"This was my third time to stay at The Emery Hotel. The hotel is located on the pedestrian street in the centre of Pristina. It is very well located for my office and the area has lots of restaurants, bars, small shops and places of interest, all within walking distance. The hotel has a small entrance and lobby located next to the coffee shop / breakfast area. Check in was very quick and efficient. My room and bathroom were very clean and overlooked the square. The shower was very powerful and everything worked well. Breakfast was a buffet style affair and there was a reasonably good selection of hot and cold food. Coffee was good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and i would like to mention Arlinda and Edvin who went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Highly recommend the hotel."

"Hotel was a 30min taxi ride from the airport, which cost €15. The hotel advised me on costings so that helped. I emailed and WhatsApp’d the hotel prior to flying out there, to confirm booking and breakfast details. Hotel staff are friendly and I was able to check in very late after my flight was delayed. Breakfast was buffet style the first 2 days, and set menu on the final day - tasty, wholesome and very filling, with juice, Turkish tea, and powdered coffee included. Hotel has a jacuzzi in each room, used it on my final day out there for about 10mins. Bedrooms have a small window which allows some air in, as there’s no AC but it was okay. The back garden/cafe area is quite nice, decent views and chilling area. There are restaurants and supermarkets walking distance, and the coach station is a short taxi ride away or a 40min walk. Lots of sights and monuments are walking distance. Overall a good experience. Thank you."

"We chose it precisely for its location; it was easy to book by calling directly. When we arrived, we didn't see the hotel sign and parked a bit further away, but the very kind receptionist met us directly in the parking lot and let us park right in front of the hotel. The room was spacious and clean with everything we needed. The breakfast was complete with sweet and savory options. It's very convenient for visiting the city center and the nearby mosques. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!"
