Find Krabi Hotels with Private Pools

"Once you get past the excellent location, and pretty nice decor, the fun ends there. The staff (with the exception of the valet/lot attendants and the barista in the lobby) were generally unfriendly throughout the process. Not warm in any way. I do not have a problem with Muslims but I quickly got the sense that that we would have been treated differently had my wife been wearing a hijab. Aside many many judgmental glances, the unwillingness to offer basic extras that every hotel I have been to in this world without a charge, was off putting. Extra pillows, “no sir, 4 is enough”. Extra blanket for blanket for my 6 year old “200 Bhat sir”. One extra hour to checkout since our plane is not leaving until 4:20 pm. “No sir, we are booked, you WILL check out at noon”. Breakfast ******. And not just because “chicken ham isn’t ham” but because this was basically a very slightly elevated continental breakfast. When I stay at a “Resort and Spa” I am not expecting “Comfort and Suites in Nebraska” for Breakfast. At least give me the good waffle maker if that is the case. Breakfast continued: I have had acceptable coffee from espresso machines. It’s possible. Whatever came out of this Nescafé machine no matter which beverage was chosen, tasted burnt and terrible. I gladly paid the Barista for Lavazza, which was serviceable, but not special. The bottom line is, this place might be winning a few green awards, and it may have a decent spa, but the ability to make the guest feel welcome or special is not up to resort standards, and definitely not up to Thai standards. A one time only stay for us."

"Everything about this hotel and resort is wonderful. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, especially the adorable cats. The rooms are spacious and clean. It's especially convenient for those seeking a quiet getaway, as you can rent a scooter right at the front desk, and it only takes a few minutes. Staying in the city center would be too unfriendly for those who prefer a quiet environment, but this hotel is in a perfect location! Overall, the rooms are spacious, the pool is nice, and the environment is beautiful! Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is lovely and service was pretty good, but not perfect. We were a little annoyed we couldn’t check in early and several others had. The previous guests left early, so they could have accommodated and early check in, but didn’t. It’s not a hill to die on, but small things. Overall pool, restaurant and room were great. Bed was not as comfy as other places, but still good and very spacious room with lovely balcony and shower. The breakfast was great. Lots of options! I would recommend and stay again. It’s a bit far from ao nang beach, but we stayed knowing we wouldn’t be leaving as we had already done islands and beaches."

"The bungalow was a good size and had a nice bath. But it needed some refurbishing and it was a long walk from the front of the hotel, in fact almost by the East Beach. And there are no hotel facilities by the East Beach. The walk included a long stretch with aircon units and little shade (see the photo). The buffet breakfast was very good. stated prices for food and drink had 17% added to them for tax and service."

"The service is very good, but there is no razor. The breakfast is excellent, you can eat it by the sea, the scenery is very beautiful. The location is not bad, not too far from the night market. The hotel has a car to take you to the night market. The last bus to pick you up is 7:15pm. After that, you can call the car back to the hotel by yourself, which costs about 200 baht."

"Very convenient location near the beach. Nice and friendly stuffs. Spacious and clean room. There are many activities offered by the resort. There is a kid club which is great for families with small kids. Breakfast offers varieties of foods and some chicken/meat options are labeled as halal, made it easier for Muslim guests. Overall great place to stay."

"This is my third time in Krabi, but my first time staying on Phi Phi Island. This hotel is located in North Phi Phi, so if you arrive at Tonsai Pier, you'll need to take a speedboat to North Phi Phi. North Phi Phi is quite small, with only a few hotels. During my visit, the hotel next door was under renovation, and there weren't many guests. I stayed for two nights, and the environment was lovely. The room type I booked offered a great sea view right from the door. I've heard some people say there's differential treatment for Chinese tourists, but I personally didn't experience that; I found all the staff to be very enthusiastic. Since my room was on a hilltop, I needed a buggy service to get around, and they were almost always available on call. They stop working at 10 PM, but I usually wasn't returning to my room that late anyway. The breakfast included in the price was a great deal, although I noticed it was cheaper on other platforms. Breakfast was decent. The hotel has two swimming pools: one behind the restaurant and a smaller one next to the hillside rooms. The hotel's mini-mart items are a little pricier, about 10 baht more on average than those on the beach. Friends coming to the island should remember to stock up on drinks and snacks in Krabi or at a nearby 7-Eleven. They provide welcome drinks upon check-in, and the service is quick. I'd likely choose this hotel again; it's convenient and located at the northernmost part, with good transportation options."

"It’s quite secluded which is why we picked it. It’s quiet and honestly a paradise. However if you want to do loads of stuff and activities you will need to get a taxi/grab/bolt everywhere, there is very little to do in walking distance and there are no paths to walk for the most part, so it really depends on what you are looking for. They have a small vehicle which goes to ao nang 4 times a day. Once in ao nang (20 mins away) you can get boats to Railay beach, or other islands. It’s busy and touristy in ao nang so the shellsea is a nice escape from this. 20 mins the other way is Krabi town which we preferred, with the mountain monument (highly recommend but only if you are fit!!). A grab/bolt here is about 180baht each way. The hotel breakfast is lovely with coffees made to order. There is another restaurant which overlooks the beach and sea which is really nice too. The pool area overlooks the bay and is quiet and peaceful. Very well maintained and clean. There are lots of activities on at the hotel if you prefer to stay around the hotel such as Pilates, yoga, Muay Thai, kayaking, etc. Staff are friendly and attentive."

"The location of this hotel is very good, just near the West Beach Pier. You can take a boat from Ao Nang Beach and it's only a two-minute walk after getting off the boat. It's about a five-minute walk to East Beach Pier. Check in went smoothly. When you arrive before check-in time, you can store your luggage first. The hotel's garden is beautiful, the room is spacious, and the swimming pool is beautiful. The restaurant is facing the beach, there are only three or four staff members, which seems a bit busy."

"This hotel has mixed reviews . I stayed there at the end of August and I’d say it’s not too bad or that different from nearby hotels . The hotel is right by Long Beach beach , they have a small pool by the entrance. They have a restaurant and a bar just next door. The room was nice and big the only downside was the shower , it was old and rusty but quite clean . I think they just need to do a few renovations. It wasn’t loud pretty peaceful and the breakfast on the second day was nice too. The staff is very very nice and always ready to help you with anything. They sent a water taxi to bring me to the hotel from the pier and take me back after I checked out. They also helped me book my speedboat to Phuket. Honestly the only bad thing is that it’s a bit old. The bathroom needs serious help . No bad smells and only saw one single gecko the whole time I was there . I’d probably stay there again when I have a travel buddy ."
