"Overall, it's a good hotel. I would come back, but with a few things in mind. It's close to the sea, with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby to suit all tastes and budgets, plus currency exchange and a laundry. So, no complaints about the location. There's no pool at this hotel, but there's a small one directly opposite at a hotel from the same chain, and it has a beautiful view. You can also buy a buffet breakfast there if you wish. The kitchen has cups, plates, forks, spoons, chopsticks, a cutting board, a knife, a good frying pan, and a huge pot. If you plan to cook daily for several people, honestly, it would be tough. There isn't much crockery, and many essentials (like a salad bowl, colander, spatula, ladle, or an appropriately sized small pot) are missing, and there's only one burner. But, I repeat, there are many places to eat nearby. The staff are polite and extremely helpful with all questions – a solid 5+ for their service. The cleaning staff also tries to do everything quickly and neatly; towels are changed constantly, water is brought daily, and if you hang the ”do not disturb” sign, they don't intrude or bother you, which is also great. The hotel has its own tour service, so if you wish, you can book excursions or transfers to various destinations. There are options. Overall, everything is good, if not for one thing: we booked a room with a city view and understood it would be a street view. But streets can be different. From the living room, there was a view of a wasteland from a ruined building next door – okay, that's fine. But from the bedroom and balcony, the windows overlooked what was simply a dump. Disgusting and sickening. It's clear the staff can't do anything about this; it's simply beyond their control. It's a dead-end alley between buildings. The question here is for the manager: couldn't a crew be called just once to clear all this trash and rubbish? Moreover, the huge iron sheets lying in this gap make a terrible sound with any wind. It's as if construction equipment is operating right outside the window, very loud, making it utterly impossible to sleep at night, and there's nothing a guest can do about it. Several sleepless, windy nights due to this horrible scraping sound spoiled the experience, and this trash has clearly been there for not just a few months, but possibly a year. If I return, and overall the hotel is good, it will only be to rooms facing other sides."
