Stayed B&B 6-13may Fantastic Hotel , fantastic Staff , especially at the pool bar , great frozen Daquiris too!!! We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful sea view (room 309) and saw the most amazing sunrises /sunsets . The hotel was spotless as was the pool and all other areas . I was worried about the shaded pool area ( from a couple of previous reviews I read) , but there was nothing to worry about , it’s doesn’t all shade until 4/4.30pm - we had plenty of time to sunbathe around the pool . We will be going back for sure , it’s a lovely hotel highly recommended -great staff perfect location for the beach (2mins slow walk ) and the ***** ( 2 minutes the other direction ) .

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Plenty to choose from for breakfast (we stayed B&B). Rooms spacious and well equipped. The only gripe we had was the chamber maid had no boundaries what so ever (barged in even when the do not disturb sign was on the door) which was quickly resolved with a quick chat at the front desk. Brilliant location, just at the end of the ***** but far enough away from all the noise! All in all a great hotel, thankyou for a great holiday!

I chose this hotel because of price and location. The location is perfect close to beach and to nightlife. Room was nicely decorated. Cleaned everyday. Facilities were basic. Breakfast was not very good. Pool area was in shade most of day, which in height of summer is probably a positive, but in October, the pool was colder than the sea, so after the first day, we chose to spend every day hiring sun beds at the beach. Glad we did, as the sea and beach in protaras are fantastic. I would happily stay here again. The staff are friendly. It was ideal for a base as we spent hardly anytime in the hotel, and price wise compared to others it was good value. We did enjoy our stay and had a great holiday.

The location of this hotel is good really quiet at night and Cyprus is lovely. We have been before and really enjoy our holidays there however this wasn’t the right hotel for us. We have a 19 month old and although it’s not advertised as a super kid friendly place to stay I did expect to have some facility’s available for us to use. The high chairs in the canteen was broken. The first one I picked up the leg fell off and the other remaining high chair was filthy. The ‘baby shallow pool’ was occupied with adults who insisted on not moving so we had one quarter of a 10 by 10 foot pool that my child could play in… but not splash of course because the adults would glare at you if he did. There was no cot available when we arrived so had to wait for the next day. Part of the reason we booked here was because the rooms have baths but of course they don’t have plugs so it would be pointless. Another issue we had was with the staff, I’ve worked in customer service before and I can’t believe some people still have jobs when they can be so rude, miserable and lazy. I know it can be hard to work with the public but a smile wouldn’t go a miss… we are paying to stay here after all. We felt hesitant asking for certain things at the reception desk because of the way they spoke to us. My child was chattering away to Himself whilst eating at the pool bar maybe he was too loud because the waitress looked at us and turned the music up. I also spoke to some other people staying here and they had issues with theft from the staff. It wouldn’t surprise me, they clearly don’t want to be there or value their job. We saw and visited a beautiful hotel that’s situated next door so we will visit that one next year.

We had a small suite in the top floor with sea view. Nice and clean and roomy. Ideal location between beach and the *****. Only things missing in room were iron and hooks to hang towels. Etc and along with a full length mirror which would have been useful. The Bath towels were very small a few towel changes were returned because they were stained or dirty which was disappointing allowing for the cleanliness generally. Breakfast was acceptable but very limited. No variety at all. The quality for some items was questionable … coffee very bitter and cheap. Juices were not fresh and potentially watered down. We were disappointed on our last day in October that they were actually putting the sun beds away whilst the pool was in use and around us and others. The noise was unacceptable and disruptive. Be aware particularly with a lower sun in October that there is very little sun around the pool area. Overall, staff were friendly and a great location ..,. Compares average for us with other hotels of a similar star rating.

It’s an average hotel, for the same money you could find something better. The main reason I won’t be going back, is due to staff thefts and poor customer service. I checked out the hotel on Wednesday at 5pm, at exactly 6.03pm I was on the transfer bus to the airport and realised that I didn’t pack mine (and my partners) sunglasses. They had been left in our room, I was 100% sure of this because I always pack them in the same location in my suitcase. So, I emailed the hotel straight away and informed them. The next day and they never responded to my email, so I chased them again but I still didn’t get a reply the following day. I called them twice and they kept stringing me along and didn’t seem to care. Eventually on Monday (5 days later!), they said the room was empty and the sunglasses aren’t in there! The only person that could have taken these glasses are the staff/room cleaners. I’m extremely annoyed because you’re supposed to be able trust these people. Please note: I’m not labelling ALL the staff, I believe there must be a bad apple in the team! So if you decide to stay here, then I would advise you keep your personal belongings in the safe or on you at all times.

We have stayed in protaras many times so know the area and hotels well. First time to this hotel and we thought it was a good 3 star hotel. We stayed bed and breakfast, plenty of good restaurants to experience evening food. . We were on floor 4 and had asked and paid for a sea view which we got and was lovely, room 418. The room was very spacious a very large bed , great wardrobe storage, great fridge and safe was €10 for the week. Shower was over a bath and was all good, towels and bedding changed often and room cleaned every day. Large bottle of water and coffee/tea making facilities. We found reception staff we spoke to very engaging and helpful. Breakfast staff also friendly and engaging, we are a couple who would always chat to staff which does break the ice. The breakfast could have more choice if really picky but definitely enough for us for a week, white/brown toast, croissants, cake slices, fruit, hams, cheeses, cereal, hot food(eggs, bacon, bake beans, hash browns, scrambled egg, sausage, mushrooms… so plenty.. We are more beach people which is two minute walk away and charge €2.50 per bed, Brolly , which we feel is very reasonable as this has not changed over the last 20 years.. The pool we believe does not get sun all of the day but did not stay around the pool. We also were able to keep our room on as we were not collected until early evening , you are charged per hour extra. We hired a car from Sixt which were very good and professional and were within the resort and brought the car to the hotel where there was plenty of safe parking. Overall a good hotel for a 3*

Hotel is clean but food is terrible. So little choice. Honestly the worst all inclusive I have ever been to. There are approx 6 trays of food Salad, rice, chips, two meat selections at lunch. Drinks are okay. It is more suited to older couples, not family and definitely not all inclusive. Some staff are not the friendliest either unfortunately.

We stayed 2 weeks at the Mandali, last week in September and first into October. Our rooms were 322 & 323. Not the best views and at a stretch there was a side sea view. The rooms were clean, modern and quite spacious. Plenty of storage with ample hangers and shelves, drawers, etc, t.v, great little fridge, kettle, mugs, plenty of sockets, safe and brilliant air con. The bathroom had shower over bath, plenty of hot water. Towels changed daily or every couple of days depending where you placed them. Our rooms were cleaned daily, fresh bedding was twice a week. The house keeper was lovely and friendly, turning up normally around 9am to do our rooms. There were 2 each of mini hand soap, sachets of shampoo, mini shower gel, coffee sachets, tea bags and cream. These are not replaced when you've used them. Either take your own or shop at the local supermarkets, one adjacent to the hotel another a minute away. We stayed half board at the Mandali. Breakfast was fine. Teas, coffees, juices. Continental meats and cheese, Croissants and toast. Full English, cereals, yoghurt and fruit. Staff were attentive and eventually you get a smile. Evening meal was hit and miss. Always a choice of salads, cyprus chips, chicken in a sauce, pork in a sauce, beef in a sauce, rice, pasta. Sometimes it was difficult putting an actual meal together because of the type of meat or sauce and salad, etc. I managed but noticed the restaurant became less busy as the days went by. You can order a drink with your meal and either pay as you go or open a tab and pay at the end of your stay. We didn't have lunch or use the bar so I can't comment. There's a gym with ample equipment and air con but take your own bottle of water and towel. The indoor pool is great for lengths. There is a sauna but we didn't use it so can't comment. There are showers there too. These are the ones you'll use at the end of your holiday if you have an evening flight or haven't extended the stay in your room. Overall the public areas around the hotel are spotlessly clean. The pool area is great. A pool bar, serving snacks. Ample loungers, with the normal placing of towels from around 8.30 am but folk were on them from 9.30 to 10am. There was never a problem finding a space to sunbathe. The sun was gone around 3.30 due to the shade cast by the hotel. That's when we went snorkelling. The beach is literally 2 minutes walk. What a fantastic promenade, stretching for miles. Lots of restaurants, boat trips, activities, etc. Bus stops are less than 5 minutes walk away. A bus trip to Aya Napa was 1.5 euro one way. After 7pm it was 2.5 euro. A day roaming ticket was just 5 euro. The drivers were great, very helpful. There is no noise at night from the busy bars just minutes away, as the hotel just sits down the road from it. There is though, traffic noise through the day at the pool area as the hotel sits on the road direct to the beach. We wouldn't hesitate to revisit the Mandali next year. We would stay be
