Nice place, but unprofessionally managed. Our experience: the rooms are overheated through air conditioning, which guests cannot modify in their rooms. We therefore spent a very bad night there, and when we gave the feedback in the morning to help improve this issue, rather than picking up the feedback we were told we should have called them. As hotel / b&b managers, you have to fix this kind of issue or advise guests in advance about it.

Love the design and ambience, the details are just amazing, definitely worth the price of the room, it is just gorgeous. I loved it. Highly recommended. I took my family of four with two kids and we got two rooms that were kind of connected and it was really really nice and super luxurious. The walls and all the details, the roof, the bathrooms, the bed all the accessories just a very thoughtful hotel room. It was just very cozy. The bathroom was just so beautiful. There was a hair, straightener, hairdryer, comb comb brush. Hair curler, the service over there is just so thoughtful. The front lady is just so friendly and nice. it was just amazing experience. I wish we had stayed there longer, but we had a very few days in italy. Will be coming in soon.

I can’t say enough about this about this boutique hotel. It’s a little hard to find but we’ll worth the effort, and in a great location within walking distance to everything. Clean, very chic, reasonably priced, and a staff that is truly cares about your comfort.

Tucked back behind some lakefront restaurants, this gem of a hotel was a true find. Quaint, charming, well-appointed, and an excellent location. It's like you are in an old convent with courtyards that has been lovingly restored and updated. Old stone walls in the rooms. There is only a small sign on a wall on the walkway back to the hotel - you will miss it and not know if you are in the right place, but the staff of the restaurants probably get asked so much, that one of them approached us and asked if we were looking for the hotel. :-) No street noise. Breakfast under the arches outside the main entrance started our days beautifully. Food was probably the best we had for breakfasts in two-week trip. Fresh fruit included berries; pastry and bread selection was great, cheese, vegetables, grains - something for everyone. The front desk staff were super helpful and warm. We loved our room - the Coloniale. Easy key-pad entry, umbrellas for use (which we had to use). This property exudes character and is not your run-of-the mill chain. It is a boutique experience and we loved every minute of our stay!

We stayed in the Leopard room, at first because we thought it would be a little funny given the name, but it also just looked very unique and cool. But let me just say, we were blown away by how gorgeous the room was and we had a really excellent stay. The service was fantastic - we received a whats app message in advance from Dario giving detailed directions to help us find the entrance offering to make dinner reservations for us. When we arrived, Dario greeted us with a coffee and pastry, check-in was a breeze, and he even lended us a steamer after first trying to get us a last minute appointment to have wedding attire pressed at a dry cleaner. Although they are only on-site during regular business hours (afterwards entrance is via a code at the door), everyone was very accessible. On our last morning, we had an issue where our car did not show up to take us to the airport. The woman who does breakfast service (regretfully I did not catch her name), was able to help us very quickly and got us a taxi service, which was a huge relief as ground transport was a challenge at the time of our visit (Aug 22) Breakfast was A+. So many options, it was just so good and literally a lifesaver after a fun, but late night at a friend's wedding. It was my first visit to Como, but I found the location to be very accessible - easily within walking distance to shops, very close to the ferry stop, and some great restaurants within steps. Overall, highly recommend and would rebook for next time!

This truly was unexpected jewel. The location close to the water gives you close access to the ferry and the town. Our room, La chinoserie, was decorated in blue and white, the space larger than one might have expected in Italy. It was stylish, clean and the bathroom appointed in white and gold features, bidet, lions’ claw tub and magnificent shower. An excellent breakfast is available and I’ld highly recommend it. There are only 6 rooms but they resemble small charming apartments ( ateliers). Small patios are also part of the setup. It’s clean, bright, well designed and even the high wood beams will enhance your stay here. The women who run the hotel are very helpful and cheerful. One caveat: you reach some ateliers by stairs that resemble Notre Dames tower so be aware of your footing.
