Best Hotels with Gym in Province of Novara

We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Cortese. It is ideally situated to explore the area, in particular the lake Orta which we found the most charming, less crowded of the various lakes in Northern Italy. Many worthwhile sites within the reach of a relatively short drive. The hotel is absolutely a great place to stay. Nice, large rooms, very clean, very comfortable. The restaurant offers a nice variety of excellent dishes. Food was just great! We also followed the staff's recommendations for local wines and that was a great experience. Breakfast buffet has everything you could think of. Facilities include a lounge, swimming pool, a fitness room, a nice outside area to relax and enjoy. The hotel does not have a charging station for EVs, but there's plenty of options in the surroundings, so this wasn't an issue at all. And a special word about the staff: extremely friendly, providing an excellent service with style and a real care for the guests' well-being. A big thank you to all the team! All in all, we were very pleased with our stay, and we would certainly return to the lovely Hotel Cortese during a next trip to the region. A highly recommendable place!

I booked a room with a terrace. Effectively a suite, the room was huge, clean and nicely decorated. The terrace has sun loungers, armchair and views over the cupola, an amazing abandoned building and the station on the other side. It cost me about 100 euros which I think is good value for a triple room with a terrace. Breakfast was nice- Italian breakfasts are too sweet for me but at least in this one they make your coffee properly (lovely macchiato) All in all extremely happy with my stay here

The room (we had No 106) was modern & very clean, the location great, the parking helpful. Thanks to Tripadvisor we had great dinners in restaurants, all within walking distance. The breakfast at the hotel was certainly Corona-conditioned so reduced: There was toast, ham, cheese and egg per personal allocation. We were there for 1 week - it was the same every day. This could be optimised. We could not use the sauna because of the special opening hours. Unfortunately, our beautiful holiday was spoiled afterwards: We always keep our things in a locked suitcase in hotels when we are not in the room during the day. This was also the case here the whole week. Exception: the day after we went shopping. We hung exactly 4 items in the room so they wouldn't crease. Everything else was in the suitcase or in the car. One of the clothes we bought, for which we have a receipt, did not arrive at home and could only have stayed in the hotel. In whatever way. What a pity. Maybe it will turn up...
