It wasn’t the hotel’s fault in regards of foreigner police registration during check-in, but they made me wait in the lobby for a whole hour without even making me go into the room first. It would have been nice if they at least gave me the room key. Overall it was a nice hotel, very new, had laundry room (which is a plus for backpackers) and good location (walking distance to main areas) but for foreigners, please be sure you are not in a hurry because the check-in takes too long and even if you clearly show your health and travel codes are green it will take long.

Nice Hotel on the 5th (top) floor. Very nice and helpful reception. The hotel even offered a shuttle service to the train station on our departure day. The hotel is jus a short stroll away from a large food and bar area with everything to enjoy the evening. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. We had a room with terrace to the water side which was quite nice. But be aware that your opposing neighbors will look straight into your full room. So if taking a bath, showering or whatever, close the curtains or allow sneak peeks... The overall breakfast quality was good. Fresh fruit, toast and coffee plus a higher quality standard chinese assortment. Sadly however, not even close to the picture promise. All in all, I would come back again if I planned another stay in Pu'er :)
