Songtsam’s Padma Pu’er Hotel

I have always liked Songtsam hotels when traveling. This time I saw one in Pu'er and decided to place an order. As expected, it is Songtsam's consistent style. The services and facilities are outstanding. There are also many local special activities, which we took our children to participate in. The coffee explanation course made my time in the hotel very pleasant and relaxing. I also want to praise the hotel’s afternoon tea, which is exquisite and generous, and the ripe Pu’er tea tastes great! Come again if you have another chance!

The room was of standard configuration. Maybe it was because I had enjoyed too satisfactory service at Shangri-La's Green Valley before, which made me have some high expectations for Songtsam, thinking that every hotel had the same standard. As a result, we were at the hotel at around 5 p.m. It suddenly started raining heavily while we were visiting a park nearby. I sent a message to the housekeeper to ask them to pick up the phone, but there was no reply. I called and the reply was that the driver had gotten off work. It was less than 5:30 and he told us to find a place to take shelter and wait for the rain. Stop, you can’t pick it up, and you won’t be given an umbrella. "If you have any needs during your stay, you can contact me." This welcome message turned out to be just polite, which made people feel disgusted. On the contrary, it was also raining heavily at the "Xingzhe Shangju" in Xizhou, Dali, so I called the staff to pick up the phone. After a while, the housekeeper did not hesitate or push at all. Summer is the rainy season in Yunnan, so can't he really solve the customer's problem?

The service is very good. When it rains, I come out with an umbrella to greet you. After checking out, I missed lunch and had to catch the train. The chef was specially asked to work overtime to make a la carte rice noodles. Afternoon tea is unique and the service and quality are worth experiencing

This is the Songtsam Hotel that is least like Songtsam. It is exactly the style I like, especially the white lobby, which looks very comfortable. The open restaurant faces the swimming pool, and it is very comfortable to sit here and have afternoon tea. The room is large, and the copper countertop and basin in the bathroom let you know that this is Songtsam. The private-brand toiletries smell great, the heated towel rack is very considerate, and all supplies, including meals, are of high quality. There is a wetland park next to it, where you can go for a walk.
