We had a great stay at Hotel Palace. The location is close to the main square, the rooms are okay for the price, the host is accommodating and helpfull, and the breakfast is individually prepared, being extra carefull with food allergies.

Our stay was great! The rooms were spacious and very clean! There was even has a back patio with a table and chairs. The interior courtyard was cute and I liked that our room was right off of the courtyard. They provided towels for the beach which was very nice. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

My adult daughter and I stayed in the 2 bedroom with kitchenette and living room. I actually didn’t know it was going to have a kitchenette with pots and pans, plates, and flatware (lol). We did end up using it though to eat leftovers and boil water for tea! There was a FULL filtered water dispenser for us… BONUS!!! This was so nice for us to keep refilling our water bottles and not having to continuously buy plastic water bottles. The mini fridge was a decent size, which we used regularly. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and MANY pillows (which I LOVE). The bigger room had a plus size king size mattress (yay!) and my daughters was probably a queen. There is AC that blows from the main room, and little wall fans that bring the cool air into the bedrooms. It will blow like the Antarctica at you, so turn it full blast… then down when you’re in living room. The living room has 3 comfortable chairs to lounge in, but a little awkward as it really just needs a mini couch and coffee table. Bar stools and island are in kitchen that we didn’t use. The owner and his younger employee are very attentive. Asking when we’d like breakfast, if we need a breakfast boxed to go (do it!! It’s eggs and fruit w a juice box). We adored the young adult female working there who was so friendly and checking in. My daughter and I did get a bit of travelers’ sickness when we were there (maybe from contaminated water at a restaurant), and the owner and younger employee were checking in on us, which was so kind. The owner will communicate with you by WhatsApp at any time if you need when you’re out and about. LOCATION!!! I need to add that this is about an 8 minute walk into the main ***** of Santa Cruz. The boutique hotel is in a QUIETER part of town… SOOOO important as insulation in hotels is not great. We walked at night back to our hotel every night at almost 10-11pm. SO SAFE. Never felt the safety of walking or neighborhood was an issue. We got lost a few times back and had fun asking people in Spanish how to get back. Absolutely great area and location!! GREAT DEAL!!

We stayed at Hotel Palace Galapagos for 5 nights. Our host, Sonia, was very friendly, accommodating , and helpful. She did not speak much English, but between apps on our phones, gestures, and smatterings of each other’s language, we managed to communicate and have a great time “chatting.” Our room was large and comfortable. The AC worked well. The hotel is on a quiet street, although there were dogs barking a night. However, they settled down by 9:30 or so. Breakfasts were delicious and filling, served in a lovely dining room. The rolls were especially yummy! Coffee was so good that we enjoyed drinking it black. The location is convenient to restaurants, and shopping. It is only a 10 minute walk to the harbour. My only recommendation is to have a clothesline outside for guests to use. In summary, we enjoyed our stay.

I recently spent a few nights at this cute little hotel in Puerto Ayora on my way to and from visiting my daughter on Isabella, a neihboring island. It's only six rooms and about eight to ten minutes from the beach/bay/central area of Puerto Ayora. My room was very clean and well supplied (as rooms in Galapagos go). The owner, Stella, was marvelous and helpful. She was very conscientious and attentive. She made taxi arrangements for me to get to the local ferry, and later to the airport. When she found that one of my days I would have left before breakfast was served, she offered to make me a bag lunch (which she did!). I would gladly stay there again!
