Parque Vacacional Eden

We had an enjoyable week at the Eden hotel. Our room was huge and had great facilities. Good Wi-Fi, full oven and hob, kettle, cutlery, TV, balcony, huge shower and a safe. We were on a bed and breakfast board and were more than happy with the choice of food. Fried eggs, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, beans, tomato, omelette, a large variety of pastries as well as big choice of cold foods for our European cousins. There was a decent choice of hot beverages as well several fruit juices. On one morning we also had the option of Cava! I particularly liked the delicious honey which dripped into a bowl directly from a natural honeycombe. The grounds of the hotel are verdant and well kept. There are a large selection of trees and plants from around the world. There is crazy golf on offer as well as outdoor fitness equipment. There is a walkway leading from the main part of the hotel to the annex which has a large wall on one side which houses many scurrying lizards. The prices in the bars of the hotel are very reasonable. A large beer cost 3 euros 30 cents and a large glass of wine is less than 3 euros. There are two ‘Happy Hours’ every day where you can by any two drinks for the price of one. One ‘Happy Hour’ in the ground floor bar is from 17.00hrs to 18.00hrs and the other is on the 5th floor bar from 19.00hrs to 20.00hrs. The staff are very friendly and greet you daily with a smile and a ‘Hola!’ I had a ‘big birthday’ whilst on holiday and my wife put up a banner in our room on the morning of my birthday. When we returned from breakfast we were delighted to see that the hotel had left a bottle of ‘fizzy’ with two champagne glasses for us. There is a downhill trek to town which takes about 15 minutes to walk. The return trip is a lot harder due to the steep incline. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus though which runs fairly regularly and was much appreciated. Puerte de la Cruz is a large, beautiful town which has dozens of bars, restaurants and shops. I loved the huge, crashing Atlantic waves which hit the rocky shores. January temperatures of 31 degrees were also very welcome, especially with the freezing conditions back home. The direct transfer from Tenerife (south) airport is a little long (1 hr 20 minutes) and the return took over 2 hours but is probably worth it for the quality of the hotel.

Great hotel, staff is amazing they take Care of you, bar-staff are cool, sociable, always smiling, the animador is humorous and keeps u busy with the biggest smile. The garden.... i mean.... THE GARDEN !! See for yourself, words dont do justice. My second time here, and definatly not the last.

Booked a superior studio which turned out to be first floor on top of the outdoor dining. Very noisy for many hours of the day from early morning setting up, to late night drinkers (there is no where else to go) and then kitchen washing up. Apparently all superior studios are in the same location so not superior at all. Evening meal choice was patchy, some evenings ok, others useless. Gardens lovely and walk from town ok if you are fit but overall not somewhere we would return unfortunately.

The hotel and room were otherwise good, but they could have put more effort into cleaning before we arrived. The floors were sticky and our roommate then decided to take a towel and wash them so that the baby could move on the floor. The hotel buffet was excellent. The staff was nice. Nice place!

I cannot believe this hotel is such good value. It has excellent staff levels (all smile and have a friendly 'can do' attitude - it says a lot about the ownership and management), very good food offered in the restaurant, and is set in nice gardens with quiet terraces and childrens play area. It has three swimming pools, massage and wellness services. It is set back up the hillside from the busy commercial and sea front area but has a shuttle bus if you don't fancy the fairly steep walk down/back up. We have been here a week and have another yet to come but I have a feeling we will be back. We wholly recommend this hotel.

Fabulous 10 days at Eden, very pleasant staff and although the hotel is a bit older it was exceptionally clean. Great selection of food well prepared and presented. Lacked a bit on activities and some of these need a bit of TLC particularly the Crazy Golf.

Cannot fault the staff at this hotel. Nothing too much trouble all lovely without exception. The hotel itself is good but the care from the super friendly staff make it exceptional. There are a variety of swimming pools and entertainment in one of the bars every night. Something for everyone. Would recommend but only thing was our weather was bad but that was beyond anyones control. The hotel gardens are superb well maintained and rooms cleaned every day apart from Sunday. All in all exceptional

I spent a delightful week in Parque Vacacional Eden from 13 to 20 March 2024. This wonderful hotel is located in a hilly area of Puerto de la Cruz, about a kilometre from the sea. A free hotel shuttle bus takes one into town and back, leaving the hotel four times in the morning (hourly from 09.15) and returning three times in the early evening (hourly from 17.00). I had a well-appointed room on the 9th. floor, from the balcony of which I could see the mountains, including the tip of the impressive volcano Mount Teide (3,715 metres). My stay was on a B&B basis. The breakfasts were truly magnificent and I prepared my dinner each evening in the well equipped kitchen of what was really my mini-apartment. The staff were unfailingly kind, helpful and efficient. With their assistance, I was able to plan my various and exciting trips to notable parts of the beautiful island of Tenerife. On the day of my departure, the manager informed me that all but one of the hotel's 240 rooms were booked for that night. This came to me as no surprise; the place's popularity is well merited. I hope to visit again.
