Ideally located in quiet part close to old town as well as the *****. Two pool areas (one with shallow kids pool) and food available by larger pool -also small dining area just past reception (good selection for breakfast). Pool table for older kids and small playground for toddlers onsite. Very clean complex and friendly staff. Fully equipped kitchenette and lovely powerful shower in bathroom which I loved! Close to lots of shops and restaurants, but relatively steep stroll downhill to beach, fine for us but could be a workout with buggy or if any mobility issues. There was on street parking outside if hiring a car. Lots of taxis around if not! We enjoyed exploring the local areas on foot after a day of sightseeing…some great restaurants close by in the old town. No air con in the apartment that we could see (but we didn’t ask either as we stated at end January so 24 Celsius and pleasant indoors and out) - recommend checking if going at peak times. Pools weren’t heated but nice for a dip- clean and lifeguards on duty at both between 9:30 and 6pm. Relaxing short break at lovely complex, we’ll be back!

Viaje con amigos y todo fue una maravilla. Nos gustó mucho la atención del personal, el entorno es ideal y las habitaciones amplias y limpias.

The Hotel sells it self short saying it’s a two star ** I’d rate it a *** but give it a personal 5 for the week we had. We’re currently in room 408 and the room is better than the Lanzaplayer we stayed at 11 months ago. The room is spotless and the cleaning staff have been everyday but one out of seven. The breakfast at the Hotel is typical of the islands that was decent and we had no issues. As the food good we ate here three times instead of the main *****. The staff are excellent. Speak good English and will help with your Spanish. The Reception staff are also fantastic. The Hotel has two pools. The smaller one is the quiet side. Not that the main pool is noisy. Our room faced the small pool. There is a no reserving sun bed policy. But this isn’t enforced. To be honest. We didn’t have issues getting a sun bed at anytime. If you have trouble walking then this hotel isn’t for you. It’s at the top of what everyone calls cardiac hill. Also be weary if pushing a wheelchair or buggy. But it’s quiet and for us perfect. We also requested a later checkout as Jet2 will pick you up for the return transfer at 1715-1815. This service is essential for us. As it stops messing about. It costs 40 Euros. But worth every penny. This will dependant on availability and time of the season. We definitely will book again. Thank you Hotel Lomo Blanco.

Stayed here in April 2024 with my wife and 2 children. Good points- the hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful (mostly), the prices are reasonable and the rooms are quite modern. Bad points - not much to do for kids, housekeeping failed to clean our room one day, the WiFi is poor and regularly drops out, the UK TV channels only worked for 3 days out of the 7 we were there. There is also no air conditioning. On our 6th day I asked if we could have another small bottle of washing up liquid but was told we had to buy our own. Given we were going the day after it seemed pointless buying another as most go to waste.

The apartment was modern and well equipped. We had apartment 224 which overlooked the main pool and distant seaview. Nice sized balcony with pull out clothes airer, a table and 3 chairs. We went in march , the pool was too cold for us even though it says its heated, i dont think it was. Paid 15 euros each for bbq night on wed. But not really bbq as it was served in restaurante. About an 8 min walk downhill to the *****. It cost about 5 euros to get a cab back due to one way system. Good places to eat at night was black Buffalo which we ate at 4 times. Served a good steak and mixed grill. With drinks would cost 50 to 60 euros for 2. Very popular so go early or book. Also good was the Italian beside it. Gorgeous spinage and walnut ravioli. Reasonably priced. Good place for breakfast was shenanigans, dearer than other places but better quality. Only went for a week so didn't venture far. Did walk to harbour but didn't think it was worth the effort.

Nice apartments with good facilities including fridge toaster cooker microwave etc. disappointed there is no air con. Also apartment cleaning was poor and breakfast was uninspiring and always the same with little choice.. however the poor bar was good and the pool kept clean. Always a lifeguard on the pool but unfortunately hardly ever paying attention and on their phone!

I am currently on a weeks Holiday with the family and just thought I would write a review whilst sitting on my balcony enjoying a fresh coffee. To start I rang the day before our arrival to ask about pool towels, whilst I was on the hotel website I noticed that the hotel was a 2* as opposed to 3* suggested on the TUI website when booking. I’m not going to lie although it has great reviews which I typically base my bookings on, I was a little concerned. My daughter in particular judges a book by its cover (her mother’s daughter) and I really didn’t know what to expect. Fear not, although it was a cheap (ish) getaway from the outset, I have stayed in Hotels and paid double if not more and it is easily on a par with them. Can’t really understand what it is based on. There isn’t air con which I’m sure is a consideration, although fans are provided in every room I expect in the summer months it could get very uncomfortable, but at the moment 25+ during the day and 17 (ish) at night it is comparable to a comfortable June/July nights sleep at home. Only downside we were initially allocated a room in the block B which as I’m sure if you have read reviews you will know, has not yet been modernised similarly to block A. No hiding it, Massive difference, I’m talking 1990 into 2010 difference it is a s simple as that. Top tip ask for Block A if a modern feel matters to you as it does us. We did ask to be moved if there was availability and within 2mins they rang back and moved us into 224 opposite reception looking over the pool. However that all said rooms are extremely.!!clean, don’t want to get the cleaners in trouble but they actually did ours twice yesterday no joke, but sooner that than forget us altogether. Hotel is mainly British & Irish so there is the towels on the beds issue, despite common misconception that it is down to another nation it is definitely a British past time. You can’t get away from it and to beat them, hands up, you find yourself hoping them. All in all massive value for money so if you have any doubts go for it really good value for money, but just might be worth taking time of year into consideration. Staff are very helpful, cleaners are very good. And more importantly bank balance is in good shape for Cala d’or in July XX

A lovely hotel, We were positively surprized since ww booked our trip few days before and this hotel was the only one available. Hotel personnel was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We got a spacious one bedroom apartment first floor facing the main pool and had even a bit of a see view from our two baiconies, one with sun loungers, so We had the luxury of sunbathing in privacy. And the beds very super comfy, Hotel pool looked nice and clean and pool Bar served good coffee! Only minus was not so perfect cleaning but it did not spoil our relaxing holiday

Really good location, 5 minutes walk to *****, around. 10 minutes walk to harbour area. There was a steep hill back from ***** but it wasn't for aong distance. However, wouldn't be suitable if you had walking or breathing problems. Room was nice and on the whole clean but all surfaces were not dusted. We were only on room to sleep so weren't too bothered. We visited in February so although warm during the day, evening temperatures were cooler so room ok for sleeping. The rooms didn't have air conditioning so in the hotter evenings I think it wouldn't be pleasant. Didn't try the food here so can't comment. There didn't appear to be much entertainment but this could have been because it was February. Because of the decent price of stay and location I would be very happy to stay again.
