Kualena Hostal

I absolutely loved my stay at Kualena! I stayed in the girls room. I loved having my own space, privacy curtains and power outlets. Bed great. I stayed in August (most humid hot time) but the room stayed cool by keeping the door closed. I bought a personal fan for my space and it was perfect. Sophia is so nice and recommended an awesome taco place. Diego is so nice also. The coffee cafe has great coffee. The kitchen is great and everything works. I can’t say enough great things about Kualena. I love the area. I rented a car and parked it on the street. It was safe and I had no issues. The Mescaline Walk is a 15-20 minute walk away. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. You have your own personal locker so I locked up all my stuff before going out (iPad, earbuds, work computer, etc…) and made sure my luggage was locked. You do not need your own lock. My locker was big enough to fit my pack and toiletries. Be a smart traveler and you’ll be fine.
