City Express Plus by Marriott Puerto Vallarta

Hotel is what’s expected from a Marriott but whatever you do don’t bother trying to get room service! Called the front desk about 8 times from the room phone with no answer then also called from my cell phone and no one even bothers to pick up. Went down and was told to go to the restaurant to order. Ordered nachos with chicken. When it came it was chips with cheese sauce and beans that was soggy and they didn’t even put the chicken on it.

The tile baseboards in the bathroom was dirty on top.

The staff was great. The breakfast was good for this type of hotel. In the room, there was not Little refrigerator, so for the water it was tough. Because in Puerto Vallarta you need to buy bottle of water. This was not convenient.

The room was clean, shower was nice with good pressure.. We had a city view which was neat to see the pool was clean and not overly used. We had the continental breakfast, which had fresh fruit and cold cuts with cheese and tomatoes, cuts, cheese, coffee and juice. Easy walk to rhythm of the night and a couple other restaurants within walking distance. Thank you so much.

The hotel was conveniently located to the airport. It was what I wanted. The hotel had a small pool but no beach. Rooms were very good. The staff was great.

Room and bath very clean. Good amenities, Dining room staff and breakfast coffee and buffet top notch.. Staff attentive, plentiful and efficient. Will book this hotel again. Happily

Good room, decent bed, average cleanliness, couldn't get more than one extra pillow and had to ask twice to get just one. Extended our checkout to 3 without issue. Good cheap hotel.

Upon check-in I was told that I needed to give a credit card for payment. I told Monica that I had prepaid the room through **********. She said no, that it hadn't been paid and I needed to pay it. Of course, when I got home and checked my credit card activity I had two charges: one from ********** and one from City Express.

Room was clean ,but small and no coffee maker. The mattress was quite uncomfortable. The staff were very kind and very helpful.
