Hotel Porto Allegro Puerto Vallarta

I really enjoyed my stay here. Three nights over the weekend and it was peaceful. Comfy bed and great breakfast. Staff was very helpful with all my needs. Clean room, shower had great water pressure. Close to the Malecon with night market and beautiful cathedral down the street. The church bells were quite charming. View from rooftop allowed me to see cool fireworks! I would definitely stay here again.

Near everything downtown. Bed is comfortable. Safe area. Also a safe in the room. Breakfast was really good. My only problem is that they raised the prices significantly.

This is a lovely hotel. Breakfast included from a menu not a buffet. Good internet in room. I I will stay again

This place is a great find if the travel priority is access to the hotspots of PV. its 2 mins literally to the Malecon, a 2 min walm to multiple bridges that would lead to the Zone Romantica and restaurants etc . Walk score is fantastic ! The staff is very friendly and supportive. Got coffe package for room everyday along with 2 bottled of water in the room . I was on 3 floor : few things here... very noisy in the nights, rooms next to mine cud be loud and heard. There was one of my neighbours blasting music in their room and some family who was playing hide and seek in the corridors of this entire floor making it impossible to find some peace and quiet. not the hotel's fault i guess but worth mentioning. Bed is comfortable and AC and Fan combo worked perfectly to make my stay comfortable. I requested and got an ironing board and iron in room. There was nothing to complain about in terms of meeting basic needs.The breakfast was basic and felt like home . Loved the warmth of the cook and staff of the kitche. The waffles are to die for. Omlette is made to order . Again nothing fancy just the basic. Watchout !: elevator was out the entire time of my 8 night stay. I saw elderly people struggling to climb the stairs each time . rooms are NOT soundproof. Price to amenities quality ratio is where it might seem off. would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay close to the most happening area of PV.

I was met at the drop off point by the bell boy. He wished my luggage away and took it up to my room. Check in process was smooth and quick. As soon as It was completed the bell boy took me to my room. Showed me how to work the tv and ac. Shortly afterwards, housekeeping showed up with my complimentary bottle of wine. I had a very nice little room with a jetted tub and little balcony. Short walk to the cathedral and Malecon. Lovely complimentary breakfast. Be sure to tip the bell boy, housekeeping and the breakfast employees!

Shabby place. Towel in my room on arrival had a hole in it and was stained (lipstick, I hope). Bowls and plates at breakfast were chipped.

Great location. Great staff. Good breakfast (included). Large rooms. Comfortable beds and clean.
