Hotel Tropicus Boutique

The hotel was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. My unit was spacious and the bedroom was bright with sunlight, and I really appreciated having the mini fridge microwave and coffee machine. The suite was otherwise very lackluster - the walls were barren of any decorations and very little furniture. I really wish there was a workdesk for using my laptop, and a full body mirror for getting dressed for the evenings out. The water pressure to both the sink and the shower was very low, and upkeep was inconsistent - there was no toilet paper holder (it looks like it was broken off the wall and not replaced) and the suite door didn't open fully before scraping against the floor. The hotel itself lacks any even basic amenities such as a lounge space. It looks like it was intended to have a rooftop patio but instead that area is unfinished and used by the staff for storage and laundry. My biggest complaint is actually their guest hours of 9am to 9pm is very restrictive, which I didn't know about until I checked in and would never have booked here if I knew that rule existed. I tried to bring a couple of guys home from the club and the concierge wanted to charge me 300 for the second one. If I need just a place to sleep I'll stay here again otherwise I wouldn't.

Hotel was very clean, staff was always helpful and very nice. I had a single the first time and it had to large patios and a very large bathroom. Second week I had a two bedroom suite but the bathroom was tiny. Both had great hot water, great working mini fridge, ac was awesome. WiFi on the other hand, barely worked. Balacony toward the street was loud but I expected that and was conjoined with the second room. Single room had two patios and weren’t loud but no view. Great location with some of the best tacos in town across the street and late night hotdogs right outside the office. Oxxo for basics is also right next to the hotel for convenience. Overall, I would recommend

The wonderful, friendly staff, the hotel was exceptionally clean. The location was great and close to many of PV's known attractions! Would definitely book here again! It would have been nice on the small patio for relaxing in the sun!

Amazing location. It is a little loud on weekends but such a great location and good value for money. Amazingly friendly staff. I had 2 queen beds and a balcony.

Ordered the family suite, which would've accommodated 3 of us by having our own beds. My reservation said 2 people, but since there was now 3, we got charged for the extra body. Cool, I get that. However, we were given a 2 bedroom suite. Once I advised the front desk person, she said our room was based on the original # of folks listed and there were no family suites available. This place is good for a no other choice, last minute, one night stay.. at best. It was not terrible, but I wouldn't stay again. No elevator, water pressure wasn't the best, but it's central to everything.

Great area if you’re looking to party, your can hear the street music from your room so bring ear plugs.

Wow honestly i do not write review but when i do it is either 5/5 or -1/5; this place is wow another level -2/5; i should have done more research but I am someone who judges by the pic and that's my bad; but this place has no hot water, and the door lock is not card but physical key; it is right on the street with other bars and the noise goes on till 4 or 5 am in the morning and i am not kidding; however the only star they deserve is the front desk is nice;
