The place is okay considering the price. However, the food is not good, nor is the quality of the drinks. The juices taste very artificial and therefore the cocktails are horrible. Even a michelada with lemonade is bad because they use artificial lemon.
The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious, but because of the food and drinks I would not go back.

The resort is dated but the staff at both front desk and restaurant are friendly. The nightly entertainment actually happens across the street which is about 2-3 minutes walk from the lobby. The ocean current is quite strong and the waves are bigger than what I am used to. We noticed that cruise-ships arrives and departs daily which makes the ocean water not as crystal clear and the non-stop presence of beach vendors. The food at all the a la carte is great from Japanese to French to Italian. The resort is family friendly so there are lots of kids so if you prefer quiet consider staying at Golden. This is our first trip in PV and I am sure it won’t be the last time.

Amazing experience and was a wonderful holiday! The staff were so friendly and interactive. The activities such as beach volleyball and ping pong were so fun to play and the staff were so good and entertaining guests! The beach was nice and staff would re fill your drinks and always be collecting used dishes. The beach had some trash but wasn’t bad and the water was very good for kids! The rooms were well cleaned but were outdated and not fancy but not bad at all. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were kept at a good temperature. The food at the buffet was very good and had lots of variety as well with the restraints were delicious! The nitro club performances were amazing and great for kids and adults. The weddings are loud but shut off immediately at 11:00. The highlight of our trip was defiantly the staff such as johnny who is an entertainer, Juan who is an amazing server along with his partner and Humberto and Jared who are other amazing servers! The drinks were very good at the bars with our favourite bartender being Javier who is very funny and interactive! Overall our stay was amazing and we would definitely come back!!!

Buffets are good. Al la Carte Restaurants are great. Staff is awesome. Rooms are dated but clean. Choice of lounge chairs or beds Pool view building has balconies that are angled so you overlook the pool and can see the ocean. Our 5th time here.

Staff was great, but hotel is a little outdated. We had issues with the AC and switched to rooms and AC did not work either. Staff who did the shows in Nitro club were very entertaining and we had a great timer.

We stayed at the penthouse level with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Rooms are poorly maintained, definitely have plumbing issues, sewage smell on a daily basis. The staff didn't seem to care, so we put up with it for 7 days, and couldn't wait to get out of there.
