Reviews of Casona Plaza Hotel Centro

Lovely decadent hotel, very unique and with beautiful decor inside, and only half a block away from the main square. It has heaters in the rooms, unlike some of the other hotels in Puno. Breakfast is basic but delicious. For the price this hotel is a bargain, I highly recommend it for one or two nights in Puno and it’s definitely worth to stay here overnight and take a morning walk at the lake.

位置很好，小有規模，酒店公共空間很大，房間小，這邊特色。服務不錯，推薦。

very well located by the main plaza internet was awful, so dont count on it unless you want to sit in the lobby rooms were large and beds were comfy and warm. bathroom - needed new showerhead breakfast - weak coffee, hard boiled eggs and rolls, cereal, fresh juice. Stores do not open before 9 am so no place to buy a good capuccino or latte nearby. its a beautiful boutique hotel but there were lots of steps that made it difficult to take the luggage up and down steps. staff was helpful.

Our room was very cosy and we were warm through the night although the heat pump was a little bit noisy. We only had it on before going to bed which was enough. There was road works right next to the hotel which went on all night and was very noisy but not their fault really. I suppose there is always noise in the city centre. Shower was lovely and warm and bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the hotel had a nice old times feeling.

Hotel located in busy narrow corner intersection with street construction. Don't judge its exterior, the interior provides hospitable staff, clean/comfy rooms, there is attached wall AC/fan, but subpar breakfast in lobby. Dinner food was horrible; better to eat out - lots of restaurants along the plaza just steps away. TV remote does not coincide with channel map menu. TV isn't clear/very staticky. No english channels. Shower runs out of hot water. There is no bathroom exhaust so no place for steam to escape (everything is steamy and wet from condensation).

Clean rooms, spacious rooms, good shower with hot water and good pressure, helpful staff helped us fix with laundry for 10 soles/kg, free coca tee, breakfast included. Would recommend. We came back from the islands and were waiting for the night bus and they offered a room over the day for a reduced fee.
