Pitifully! We went to have tea! We walked through the door with our poodle! The hotel is old (80s) and has 2 terrible, moldy elevators and nothing is accessible in the slightest. Let's start with the bathroom in the old room, which has no ventilation, only one light bulb and needs new taps and utensils. The room is spacious but everything is also very old, the wardrobe has mold and the TV is tiny. Furthermore, you will not find available outlets. The minibar is from the 70s and like everything else, very moldy and in very poor condition. If you still want to stay here, the restaurant is very expensive and bad. Breakfast is modest and with few options, in Brazil there are many simple inns that offer something better. If you still think that the experience wasn't good, my husband was bitten by fleas that were in the bed linen and the hotel didn't even recant, they just wanted to change the sheets and they just wanted to put some poison on the mattress. They didn't even want to change the room... This in accommodation costing 2000 reais a night is absurd. If you are looking for a sunset, there is no shortage of that in the region and you can even use the viewpoint next to the hotel which is free and take photos. I felt compelled to show these points because the other reviews were focusing only on the landscape and the hotel experience is weak!!!

The place is only worth it nowadays for its location, history and energy. It is very poorly maintained: dirty pool, water on the floor in the hallway, fiberglass pool with patches and damaged, a lot of uncontrolled humidity in corridors and bedrooms, little hot water in the room, cheap water in the room. There is no parking and you must park on the street in front. Due to the museum, sometimes the car is further away. The view from the room is beautiful.

The truth is that it is a shame that they have the hotel in this state since it is like an icon of Punta del Este, nothing to highlight. Everything in poor condition, from the bathroom, broken, worn, unpainted furniture, old and worn towels. The bedding is in a sorry state, it is better not to talk about the mattress. We booked for 4 nights, we only stayed for one, no one asked anything when we checked out... the worst

I loved! It's lovely! It has a beautiful view of the sea, the hotel itself is a beautiful view. The restaurant's food is very delicious. The pools are comfortable and the water temperature is ideal. Excellent atention. The rooms are a little old, but it is part of the hotel's architecture, the bed I had was not very soft. But still, the view rewards everything. There are mosquitoes, so I recommend bringing repellent and closing the windows until it gets dark. It is very close to a viewpoint and also close to Punta del Chileno (whale tail sculpture) and you can go by car to Punta del Este which is very close (12-15 minutes)

Me encantó 😍 volvería a ir una y mil veces más, lamentablemente no nos tocó buen tiempo, pero eso no fue motivo de opacar la estadía... Hermoso lugar, gente amable y muy rica la comida del restaurante pedimos varios platos y fue riquísimo todo.
