Overall a great experience. My boyfriend and I went here as our first time flying out of the country. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Out of the entire resort we only came across one staff member who wasn’t the best. We would recommend this resort to anyone! The staff here is always happy and having a good time with the guests. The only negative is that the buffet food isn’t my absolute favorite but I am a picky eater and still found things to eat. Another negative is the guests who come to Punta Cana are mostly from Europe so there is a lot of smoking but that will happen at any resort, and the resort is not adults only although the only time children were noticeable to us were at the main pool. If you stay in the swim up bar pool or on the beach children aren’t that noticeable. The night time entertainment is geared towards children earlier on (before 8:30 i’d say) and then after that it becomes more dancing and singing for the adults. The resort was very clean and easy to navigate between the map you’re given upon check in and their app. Through the RIU app we were able to request more towels, room service, sheets changed, etc, all while at the pool or beach. At this resort you get a little bit of everything! I would compare this resort to a cruise on land. It’s very big with lots to do and see and you won’t regret staying here.

Convenient if you drive car. Very close to highway so you can easily drive to the most popular locations in North-Eastern Dominicana. There’s nice territory near hotel’s swimming pool where you can chill and enjoy the birds singing. The breakfast is good. Stuff very friendly and helpful

The entire hotel is very dirty, the rooms are very dirty and dirty, water leaks in the bathrooms, the hair dryer does not work, my Fendi backpack was broken at the reception, the paint is peeling off the pool, the shows are horrible, the dancers even have broken shoes And to make matters worse, the only buffet that has leaked and it seemed that it rained more inside than outside, I won't come back even if they give it to me

I and my daughter were so looking forward to our experience and now I will write an honest review based on our stay.We came on tui premium flight which was an excellent experience well worth the extra.Sadly that's where the positives end.Arrived after being delayed.Only 2 people on reception. It seems they can swap and change your rooms so they gave us keys to another person's room set up for a family. No feedback given on when the restaurants are open where they are.In fact if I were a lone traveller I would have been feeling tearful at the lack of any information. We were told to go outside and get a train to take our cases. The man was brilliant took us to our room carried cases in and told us enough information to get us by.I gave him a tip.The room 5207 dirty. The whirlpool bath broken. Some of the lights not working including the balcony.Floor filthy. The mini bar was stocked daily and beds made.Nothing 4 star here. The buffet in main reception dire obviously for some reason none of the staff likes the British.Staff Rude never came back with drinks that were ordered.Food cold and your waiting forever for an omelette unless you tip. This seems to be the theme here. This is the only place I've lost weight on holiday. The bars the same my daughter gave a tip in their own dollars only for the woman to snatch it out of her hand and never say Thankyou.Deffo not friendly to us brits. We did the steak house which was OK but maiko was lovely and staff amazing we loved it and it was the saving grace Thankyou.!!.Take mosquito repellent I mean everything spray cream anti histamine. You literally get eaten alive here By 2days in and we were covered.Especially bad In the seated area near waterfalls near reception.Shops are all over priced. We found that there was another part to the complex called the village when we asked where karaoke bar was.A large area to walk round with shops and a stage. Pool areas great with good entertainment teams.Sea and beach beautiful. This hasn't put me off the dominican republic but next time I will pick more wisely. This hotel chain has a resort in tenerife which I stayed in earlier this year which was out of this world and really no comparison. Also they prefer us dollars just a tip we tipped mostly in dollars.
