Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita

The amenities of the hotel are incredible!! with an spectacular view to the Pacific ocean; however, what makes the Four Seasons from Punta Mita so wonderful & unique is all of their staff members! Service is amazing! they are all so attentive, very friendly, polite & professional. Special kudos to the staff members at the Spa!! Paola for the warm welcome, and help when we arrived on the first day. Araceli for the great massage & relaxing session, and Katia Vallarta the Yoga instructor she went above & beyond during the yoga session. Her personalized service made the whole experience different!!. Really appreciate that she takes the time know the guest‘s level in Yoga, and which areas we want to focus on, and at the same time adds her rich knowledge in this discipline. I left the Yoga session feeling energized & empowered. Thank you Katia & the rest of the Four seasons team for making this an unforgettable experience 💕!

Punta Mita easily became one of our favorite resorts. The main pool is in a great central location with views of both beaches. In the afternoon there was some shade in part of the pool which was great. There were always chairs available around the pool and staff to set you up with towels at a moment's notice. The main pool was quiet enough that we never even ventured to the adults only pool. Unfortunately the lazy river was closed for maintenance or renovation during our trip. The beaches were great as well. We were mostly at las manzanillas beach since our room was a few steps from the sand. Again, there were always chairs available there with the thatched umbrellas over for some shade. Very relaxing for us. The water was a great temperature at Labor Day to swim, although it's not quite as tranquil as the Caribbean (which was just fine with us). The workers constantly stop by to bring you insulated cups of water or take your order for something more. The beach was my wife's favorite spot to eat, especially their delightful chicken nachos. The restaurants were good as well. We probably liked Dos Catrinas the best with beautiful ocean views. The drinks were good but they had a somewhat limited bar so they couldn't make a few of the drinks that we preferred. We stayed in a beachfront room that we really enjoyed. The room was very comfortable with a small outside area to sit. The housekeeping service was top notch as well. The resort seemed fairly busy during our stay but never crowded. It is in a great location on a gated peninsula to feel very safe for my wife and no crowds from other resorts to contend with. We will definitely be back to Punta Mita many times in the future.

You are not at the Four Seasons when you book a birthday dinner with your wife at a hotel restaurant, call ahead to make certain that they have it noted, and they forget. You still don’t feel like you’re at the Four Seasons when you sit down for dinner the next night at a different restaurant at the hotel and they bring your appetizers just after delivering the entrée. The third time was not a charm sitting down in their Asian eatery, just couldn’t eat it. You will feel you at some random all inclusive when they cancel an activity that was booked weeks in advance, 30 minutes before it’s to begin to start, giving you no other alternatives, and leaving you with an evening to plan without notice. I did feel like I was at the Four Seasons when dealing with the staff. They were well-trained, courteous, friendly, and very helpful. The property is tired and will remind you of a Florida condo development. Overall, we are big fans of the Four Seasons, they just almost always deliver, but a big swing and a miss here.

Incredible - wish we could give more than 5 stars!!! We were blown away by the hospitality that started the second we booked and continued even after we checked out… every employee at the resort was so genuinely friendly, helpful and accommodating. From the hostesses at all of the restaurants (we ate at them all), to the concierge team (special thanks to Isis who went above and beyond over and over for us!), to the recreation team (Jullian’s hike and kayak tour were highlights of our trip- along with the surfing lesson), the wait staff (they were just as warm and friendly as they were knowledgeable about their incredible menus), grounds team (not even a leaf was out of place), the pool staff (special shout out to Danira who’s such a love - bringing aloe to my daughter for her sunburn, and Omar too!)… last but not least, the bartender team at Bahia- and wait staff Mez bar - so much fun to chat with over a custom flight of tequila! Beyond hospitality- every meal was perfection - and soo many on property restaurant choices - we never left the resort!, the views were spectacular in every direction, the pools were the ideal temp, beaches perfectly maintained, the ocean water was crisp and refreshing- with safe swimming areas well marked and waters constantly monitored for safety… and our room was spectacular with our own pool and a full private beach in front. And so many cool places to relax up in the shade or sun around the property… Be sure to book dinner reservations ahead of time - dining on property is popular. Can’t wait to plan our next visit :)

I had two stays at the Four Seasons Mexico City in December before and after exploring further afield in Mexico. Both stays were nice without being amazing. The food was good and there were lovely welcome amenities in the room. Breakfast was included and pleasant. One small gripe, they do charge you the breakfast service fee even if you don’t eat breakfast. The christmas tree and ice skating rink were nice festive touches. This is an older style hotel and the decor and rooms are not modern so if you are looking for contemporary the Ritz Carlton is a better option.

Was there March 10 - 15th for a special occasion, 25th Anniversary. Spent more for this occasion, wanted it to be really special. Booked there "Oceanfront King Casita" for $2,375 a night, it has to be awesome! Approximately, 7 weeks before arrival, noticed a $16K+ charge on my credit card from them. They pre-charged me, before I even arrived. 1st class experience upon arrival by personal check-in, huge let down when we walked in the room. It was Oceanfront, small patio & it was just your average size King Room, nothing special at all. Immediately felt ripped off. Room was little outdated & had to call maintenance to fix 3 of our doors that broke over the course of 5 days. Took our 1st walk on the grounds to have lunch, Bellman recommended the Adults Only Pool. Upon walking there, noticed there is Spring Break Families (Kids) everywhere! Even at the Adults Only Pool, they allow teenagers. Overall, grounds are very nice, beautiful view of the ocean, Staff was a 10 & what we ate at the Resort, the food was good. Unfortunately, we left the Hotel everyday for Lunch & Dinner to get away from all the Kids. Punta Mita town is an easy walk from Resort & has many, cute Restaurants along a beautiful Bay. We had great meals there too. We are Golfers, Tail of the Whale Course was a big let down too, nothing special. Couldn't even do the Island Green because the tide was too high.

We've been here at least 6 times. We try other hotels but nothing compares. The staff is amazing. They are always upgrading everything. The activities keep our kids busy and we all have the time of our lives. We can't wait to go back

The four seasons is such a staple and never disappoints. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel inside the gates of Punta Mita. The rooms are very comfortable no matter which one you stay in (I’ve stayed in several different ones). I highly recommend a romantic dinner on the rocks (so nice) or the sea turtle release experience. This hotel is a staple and you get consistency and comfort every time in this true home away from home.

Location is beautiful. Rooms were okay. Facilities were fine. Prices were ridiculous and although that’s expected at a property like this, I expected the meals and room to be much better. Service was disappointing outside of pool and beach service. The concierge told me I “was welcome to make my own arrangements” when I asked for a taxi booking to go to the airport. I could go on and on about how many completely reasonable requests were politely declined. Yoga mats, bicycle use, etc. Finally, the constant attempt at upselling was gross. This was my first experience at a Four Seasons so maybe my expectations have been set too high by the places I have stayed (Ritz, Fairmont, Oberoi, andBeyond, etc)
