Aparthotel Adagio Access la Défense Puteaux

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was passable, but the location isn't really ideal for those without a car.

The hotel's location was very convenient for us, as we were attending a three-day conference in La Défense. There were many supermarkets and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and the ÖVP (Austrian People's Party) offices were also nearby. The room was well-furnished and had a small, well-equipped kitchenette. However, we encountered a major problem and the arrogance of two staff members. For the first two days, we couldn't use the bathroom sink because the drain was clogged. We reported this first thing in the morning. We drove into town hoping the technician would clear the blockage immediately. But we were wrong. When we realized nothing had been done, we were told the technician was on vacation. How can a hotel only have one technician? The next day, we reported the issue again. Apparently, another technician was supposed to come and fix the problem. This, too, was not done. The reception staff didn't even offer us a room change, even though the hotel wasn't fully booked. Their response was that it wasn't their problem and there was nothing they could do anyway. That's outrageous! We then decided to take care of the blockage ourselves and fixed it. The drain was completely clogged with hair and other black gunk. It smelled so awful that we had to buy toilet cleaner at the supermarket. At least the drain was clear again. We then informed reception that a technician didn't need to come because we had fixed it ourselves. The reaction was as if they didn't care. The hotel could have offered some kind of compensation, but there was no real response. Only on the last day, at checkout, were we asked how our stay and the room had been. The receptionist must have noticed from our reaction that we weren't very satisfied and asked why. When we told her about it, she was very shocked and apologized profusely. She couldn't understand why we weren't immediately offered a new room or at least given free breakfast for a day as a thank you for the repairs. This lady was incredibly kind and reacted exactly as you would expect any hotel employee to. After all, thousands of international guests stay at a hotel, and bad reviews due to untrained staff aren't exactly helpful. Things can always go wrong in a room; that can happen even in the most expensive hotels, but then staff should react very differently than we experienced.

It's far from the subway and has poor sound insulation.

The room was clean. Except for not providing slippers, all other conditions were complete. There was a refrigerator and microwave, which was very convenient. It was a bit troublesome to walk 10 minutes to the subway station, but considering the quality and price of the hotel, the location was completely acceptable. The only problem was that the air conditioner could not be turned on. Although the temperature reached 30 degrees, it was not turned on because it was only May. It was quite difficult to go back to the hotel to rest in the afternoon (I felt relieved when I thought that there was no air conditioning during the Olympics)

Clean and tidy, the house is very new. Close to the subway and bus station, there is a supermarket Carrefour nearby, convenient for eating and shopping. Check-in was smooth, I will come again, and I was allowed to check-in in advance

I booked a room for two nights. On the morning of check-in, I applied to cancel the second day's accommodation but was refused. I don't understand. For people who travel frequently, it is normal to adjust the itinerary at the last minute. The cancellation was for the second day's accommodation, but it was refused without any reason. I can only give a bad review.

This is the first time I have experienced the low quality of a hotel in Paris. Although the location is good, the hotel facilities and services still need to be improved. The front desk staff are quite polite, but the restaurant staff must be trained and improved.
