Bad experience in Mercure Living Putrajaya My family and I had double misfortune by staying at your hotel twice in room 2603 on 12/12/25 and in room 2701 on 23/12/25. We were falsely promised by a manager who said on the phone that we can park our car there during our trip for free thus why we book the two dates. When we arrived on the 12th, the reception said that is no longer possible as the mall implement new APNR parking system but at the same time refuse to cancel our second booking. The bigger issue is during our stay we encountered unsatisfactory hygiene service that I wanted the top management to be aware of and resolve immediately. On the 12th, we didn’t spend the night in the room as we’re using it as transit while waiting for our early morning flight. We found the toilet dirty but didn’t have the time to complaint. We checked out around midnight, made our way to the airport with positive thought that the room was missed by your cleaner hoping the room we booked on our return date will be better. After all Mercure Penang have always been great to us. How wrong of me to think that. On the 23rd our flight arrived late and we checked in about 10 pm at night. Checked in was smooth no problem there. It was when we entered the room there was strong sewerage smell in the room coming from the toilet. The bathroom was filthy with strong smell. The wall in the room was covered with sketches and water stain. The toilet is dry, but you know it haven’t been scrubbed in ages, the cleaner probably just wiped it dry with the same towel used by guest to dry our body which is disgusting. I am also a public amenities provider of some sort, so I would know the difference of toilet that is dried vs cleaned properly. I called the housekeeping and after what seems like forever, a foreign male worker came to clean at 1am. A cleaner ringing the room at 1am to clean when guest should be sleeping imagine that. The most shocking thing he say is that he is the only cleaner for the whole 36 floor and he just came back from cleaning 15 other rooms ours is the 16th. He told me the management do not want or planned to add more staff for the department. There is no way the room is cleaned properly with only one cleaner. We felt so disgusted and checked out earliest. We were so regretful in our decision to support your business spending a total of RM654.24 for less than 24 hours total usage combine and never felt so dirty. I have the responsibility to not letting other future guest feel ripped-off the same way I have so I will give my honest review. I hope your side will start taking care of your guests and staffers welfare instead of focusing on pure profits.

The hotel is connected to 2 shopping malls. There’s no view but the location is good. It’s easy to go to Taman Botanical from there. Breakfast was decent. I like that the room has its own water filter machine.

Those yang nak stay relax2 dengan family, sangat recommend tempat ni. Boleh bagi kids2 enjoy their swimming, swimming pool pon kids friendly. Just cawan masa breakfast ada sedikit kotor, boleh improve on that part. Overall semua okay! Grab from MRT Putrajaya to hotel RM10 (ikut luck kena consider jam, PH etc). btw guys, ni sebelah alamanda je, walking distance, takyah pening2 nak amik grab or drive! ＜3

Thank you for upgrading my room from one-bedroom to a 2-bedroom apartment. It was a 17-hour stay after completing my duty at PICC Putrajaya. I had a pleasant time with Mum. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I liked the Shabu-shabu style of breakfast.
