Our 1st visit to Sri Lanka and we were very much looking forward to our stay at Club Hotel Dolphin, upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our room. We were staying in one of the superior rooms on the 3rd floor, there is no lift only for staff to use so if you have any mobility issues make sure you request a ground floor room. We had a few issues with the cleanliness of the room, however after a quick chat with reception this was quickly rectified. The pool area and grounds of the hotel are kept immaculately clean and EVERY single member of staff we encountered was super polite and friendly. Animation team work hard by the main pool every day to get you involved in the many activities but are super understandable if you just let them know you want to chill on your sun lounger. We were lucky enough to be there for NYE, and oh my word what a night it was.....absolutely incredible. The amount of effort that went into making sure the night was a success was phenomenal and honestly, it was one of the best NYE's we have had in long time. A huge thank you and well done to all involved. Food - now this is the reason I can't give 5 stars, whilst the dishes we tried were delicious it was always luke warm at best.....I know this has been mentioned to the management team and I really hope they listen to the feedback. I appreciate it is a buffet setting and there will always be a period of time the food is stood but even when we went for breakfast/lunch/dinner as soon as the restaurant opened the food was never hot. Such a shame as you can see how much effort goes into creating the dishes. Overall we had a wonderful week in Sri Lanka

It was a great stay. It was a bit busier than our last visit but it's because of the Aurudu season. the most delicious food we had in a very long time. We had a really good time. Pool experience was good as well. Keep up the good work.Can recommend to anyone without a doubt.!

We came to dolphin for awurudu celebration with our family. Food is super delicious. All our family members enjoyed a lot. We came for day outing to dolphin. Customer service is superb. Kaveen, Angela and damith from front office is superb.

Ladies and Gentlemen We would like to thank you very much for the lovely and pleasant stay in your hotel from April 4th to April 19th, 2024. The service was excellent and all the staff are always friendly, helpful and very hardworking. The large hotel complex with the pools is in a very well-maintained condition. Management can be proud of its team. The kitchen prepares good meals and desserts. Our bungalow No. 0XX was cleaned well. The outdoor area is lovingly designed by hard-working gardeners. We spent a fantastic week in this hotel. We decided all inclusive package and everything was very-very good. The apartment with a large terrace and the room with a large double bed were very comfortable and clean. The food was delicious and we had a great selection so everybody found lots of good meal. The beach and the pool area was clean, we enjoyed the sunshine and drank some good coctails, we felt like in the Paradise. The staff was very kind and helpful, they always smiled. I would like to thank you all of the staff, that made our holiday such a memorable one! It was one of the best hotel I have ever been! We would like to return in the future!

We stayed 5 nights at the Club Hotel Dolphin and had a wonderful end to our two week holiday. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Buddika who cleaned our room every day. The rooms are fairly basic but ours was right by the beach and was clean and comfortable. The only downside for us was the amount of noise at the main pool. We were there to relax, not to be bombarded with loud music... However, a move to the 'quiet' pool solved this problem as it was lovely and peaceful.

Good: - the buffet - the restaurant staff, roomstaff -rooms Bad: - the smelling, dirty tenniscourt, after complaining we still had to pay 2500 rs for „playing“(playing was not possible because of the material they gave us) half an hour - the receptionists - many areas are dead - gym is also like nobody had cleaned it in a long time
