The room was nice and big but didn't get why they opted for see-through glass walls (some blinds covering it!) for bathroom?

My family and extended family stayed at Anantaya, Chilaw during the Sinhala New Year holidays and spent New Years at the hotel (they had a lovely New Year festival on 15th April). Our experience was really good. The room we stayed in which was suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The service by the hotel staff was exceptional, they were friendly and all ways willing to help with our inquiries. The restaurant staff was exceptional too. We had a toddler with us and the attention given by the restaurant staff (specially the lead chef's) on our toddlers meal requirements was appreciated. Overall our experience was really good and we hope to visit the hotel again. Cheers.

The very moment we entered the resort what we saw was the view and it was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly. And the rooms were very clean and spacious and same with the massive pool which was right in front of our room which made it possible for our family and friends to have fun for hours. The surrounding was very calm and you could just enjoy the view for hours. And finally the food was delicious with different varieties and choices you could choose from. Just make sure you book for atleast two days cuz there's infinite stuff you could do here and have fun lol. Absolutely worth the price and we enjoyed the stay to the fullest!

We had a one-day half board stay at Anantaya resort & Spa, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and peaceful — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. The entire place had a soothing, serene vibe that helped us unwind completely. And the food? Absolutely amazing — every meal was delicious and well-prepared. Overall, a highly recommended spot if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing escape with great service and excellent food.

Amazing stay!!! Room was lovely spacious n comfortable.super large Pool, inviting n well maintained. Starting from Janith and Niroshana at front office to Chef Supun and the kitchen team for their meals everyone was soo warm and helpful.Special shout out to Manager Dilan n all the staff for their warm friendly attentiveness.You can say they all really care about their guests. Such a peaceful relaxing vibe throughout the resort. Perfect getaway.. Thank you to the entire Anantataya team.

My wife and I recently stayed in a suite at Anantaya Resort & Spa, Chilaw, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Our second stay at Anantaya Resort and Spa was truly unforgettable and even more special than the first. The warm hospitality, friendly staff, and delicious meals made us feel completely at home. The swimming pool and beach were perfect for relaxation, and our son had the best time enjoying every moment. Watching the sunrise and sunset was simply magical and brought a sense of calm and beauty to our stay. Had a wonderful stay at Ananthaya Resorts & Spa – Chilaw on the 5th and 6th of April with my family (6 of us including my parents, wife, and two kids). It was truly a relaxing and memorable getaway. The pool area was fantastic and a real highlight for all of us. The full board meal plan exceeded expectations — every meal was delicious, well-prepared, and offered great variety. Compliments to the entire kitchen team for such an excellent culinary experience. What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality. From the warm welcome at reception, the helpful bellboy service, to the attentive supervision at the buffet — every staff member was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Overall, this is a perfect destination for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Highly recommended, especially for families! Looking forward to visiting again.
