Charmillion Sea Life Resort

We have visited this hotel 3 time previously so are able to compare any improvements or disappointments between our last visit and this one. I will start with the pros then the cons. This is my personal opinion only. Pros- the staff work very hard and are very helpful even when they speak very little english they tried to help you. Our room was always cleaned very well by Hossam(room 424) and the cleaner of the next block was also very helpful (Hassan).The pool area was always clean and tidy with cleaning being ongoing through the day by the lifeguards(even though there was bins everywhere some people was just dropping their rubbish on the floor. The lifeguards was very friendly and helpful i must mention Darwish who always went that extra bit. The barman at the pool bar made our holiday that much better always remembering our drinks as we walked up they was ready and waiting so thank you Mohamed Ebrahem for being so nice to us. The grounds was very pretty and well kept too. CONS- there was no bottled water at the pool bars(unlike our last visit) instead there was a water dispenser which was NOT cooled so as the day got warmer so did the water the management need to replace these with ones that keep the water cool/cold. To get bottled water you had to goto the lobby bar. On our last visit we went snorkeling and videoing the diverse fish. Now you are virtually unable to snorkel as the water is too shallow this was a massive disappointment to us. The food in the restaurant was well cooked and presented unfortunately they dont cater for us british yet! and the choice for us was very limited so much so my wife ate next to nothing so we ate out as often as we could even ordering a mcdonalds to be delivered. We understand there have not had many british guests and put this down to that. Customer relations is a waste of time and useless we reported the fact our balcony light did not work and only 1 cup in the room with 2 guests and nothing happened if it was not for our cleaner we would not have got the extra cup. Overall compared to our previous visits it was only average. But with a few adjustments could make it much better. Dont let my review put you off as this is my experience and yours maybe much better if you like spicy foods and whole fish with their head and tail on.

Great hotel. The room service was especially nice, our room 412 was cleaned by Taric, he was a great help and pays a lot of attention to detail while cleaning. He was the best man from the whole staff, a lot of people were in my opinion unorganized and at times even rude when they were asked to do something. So if you need help with something ask Taric, he’ll do what he can to help :) If you overlook the staff the stay was overall very nice.

Hotel has everything you will need whenever you need it. Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. Cleaners are the best we have had in any hotel! Ahmed cleaned our room to a very high standard every day as well as creating some amazing towel sculptures. Would definitely recommend and revisit the hotel again! Buffet food is okay however the restaurants really impressed us and can’t recommend the Teppanyaki restaurant enough. We stayed in room 712 which was the perfect distance to the beach and pool.

Please read to the end. As have left the negatives to last. First the positives. Great hotel. Grounds are kept immaculate. The cleaning teams are amazing. Couldn't do enough for us. If you upgrade your room you get a larger room. Restaurant staff where great special thanks goes to Abdul. very entertaining and friendly. Great with kids. It's amazing what fun the staff can create with a simple balloon to keep the kids happy. . Bar staff where great and very friendly. There is only one pool and a little paddle pool for tots. The beach has lots of quiet areas and best of all the coral reef. You can swim and snorkel here and there is a jetty that will take you to the edge of the reef where you can snorkel on days when the sea allows. The negatives. These hotels are a distance from the centre of Sharm so you might feel isolated. We however didn't have a problem with this. If your the sort of person who gets eaten alive by mosquito s then go with an ****nal of repellents. Lastly no quiet pool and the music is way to loud most of the day round the pool driving many guests to the beach away from the noise. We where advised that the sister hotel next door The Park Hotel has the same noise issues round the pool. The entertainment crew appeared uninterested. Let's the hotel down. Lastly not suitable for those with mobility issues due to pathways being uneven.

Only day 2 of 7. Hotel is ok. Rooms dated and looking tired . Food is ok . Nothing amazing. Service is terrible in the restaurant and also at the outside bar at night. Even at night we was served drinks in plastic cups. If you’re looking to relax and chill around the pool or beach, forget it . The music was blasting like no one’s business at 10.30am and the bass could be heard past two hotels . It was diabolical . This is a basic all inclusive hotel and nothing to shout about. Apart from those snags we are having an enjoyable time. If we came again we would stay next door at the Charmillion Club Resort .It’s much nicer.

Hotel is in great location. Room were clean and well prepared for guests. The only minus od our holidays were mosqiutos but i think thats the problem in every egyptian regiony at this time od the year. Cleaning the room by Tariq were great, one of the nicest person there.

The stay was overall very nice. We were staying in room 428 and the cleaning service was excellent. Our man was Taric, very nice, polite and helpful. He was very cheerful made nice towel figures and cleaned the room very nicely. Was probably the best one from the staff. Because the rest was not so good. The service at the restaurant was poor, slow with cleaning, not so helpful, they were walking around not really knowing what to do with themselves. The barmans were slightly rude. Too little food and snacks between the restaurant hours. And the animation team was tragic. Some of them looked like they were afraid to talk to people. However the beach bar was very good with tasty snacks. The rooms were clean and nicely equipped. The hotel overall is very clean and cozy. The beach is big and clean same with the pool area. If you don't mind the staff then the hotel is actually not so bad.

Charmillion sea life resort IS THE BEST place I have ever been too,it is not only safe and manageable,the place is SO BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN. The staff is absolutely fantastic. There not only helpful but very polite. Only because of them I would come to this place again. Also one of the bar people in the bar called Mohammed was AMAZING. He was positive,smiley and just amazing. There was this girl call Tracey, who works at the sea life, she was ALSO ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Overall, this experience was amazing and because of this I would Egpyt once again!

First time at Charmillion sea life resort and I’m impressed. The service and the hotel crew are very nice and helpful. The animation team (Madina) is amazing and full of life, everyone is always happy and helpful. The program is filled with fun activities and challenges.
