Reviews of the Westin Qingdao

Participated in the marathon on April 19th and chose to stay at the Westin Hotel near the starting line. The hotel was very comfortable, and Aris, the front desk staff member, was incredibly helpful. She even packed a breakfast for me to take early the next morning. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The room was spotless and clean, the service excellent, and the food delicious. The gym facilities were comprehensive, and the swimming pool was especially bright and comfortable. It was my husband's birthday, and he even received a birthday gift, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao.

The hotel entrance is right by the subway station, which is super convenient for a smooth connection to the airport and the Cai Jie concert. A big thank you to Luna Xu and Elara Zhang for their kind assistance during check-in, where they perfectly understood my needs and even arranged a room with a view. It made for a wonderful weekend! Absolutely loved my stay! I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel is right above the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around every day. The location is excellent; I could easily walk to May Fourth Square and the seaside boardwalk, and it was a short trip to the Olympic Sailing Center and Badaguan Scenic Area. The room view was stunning, especially the city night lights—so romantic! The facilities are new, and the hygiene was top-notch. Kimi's service was also incredibly thoughtful. After a long day of sightseeing, coming back here was so relaxing. The food was fantastic too! This trip really hit all the right notes.

I highly recommend this five-star hotel! The service was absolutely top-notch. The staff, especially Aris, were incredibly polite, responsive, and professional – truly attentive. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with a sophisticated touch, and came with excellent amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's location is superb, offering easy access to everything while still being quiet and private. I genuinely experienced high-quality hotel service here and it's definitely worth another visit.

I booked the Business Twin Room this time, and it was excellent value for money. The breakfast had a great variety, and the self-service dinner at the Executive Lounge's happy hour was quite tasty. Nicky also helped me with a late check-out. I'm very satisfied with this stay.

I brought my parents to Qingdao, and I found this Westin to be quite reasonably priced, offering good value for money. We got a suite, and the sofa was just enough for me to sleep on – I'm 5'4" (1.63m), though it was a bit narrow, it did the job perfectly. My parents slept on the large bed inside. The suite has two bathrooms; one right by the entrance and a bigger one further in with a bathtub. The shower area is also very spacious. Breakfast was excellent and had a great variety. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly and accommodating. I think it's really good. Our room faced west, so it got a bit warm in the late afternoon, but since it's April, Qingdao isn't too hot yet. From the 16th floor, you can also see the sea. The overall temperature is still a bit cool, so it felt quite pleasant. If I come back to Qingdao, I'll definitely choose this Westin again. The entrance is right by Metro Line 3, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Across the street is MixC Mall, with plenty of food, drinks, and shopping options. There's also a 7-Eleven nearby, and it's just a 10-15 minute walk to May Fourth Square. I think it's fantastic, absolutely no complaints!

The hotel's location is super convenient, less than 50 meters from the subway exit. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast spread was great. What pleasantly surprised us was that our booking included access to the Executive Lounge's happy hour, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious and well-prepared food – it was practically like a mini-buffet! We were so full afterwards that we didn't even need dinner. Plus, the hotel is close to the May Fourth Square, so you can easily walk over to catch the light show.

An unexpectedly great stay! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Qingdao. This stay was incredibly satisfying! (The first 4 photos are of a corner room, the last 3 are a standard king room). 💰 Value for money: We booked a deluxe king room for ¥2033 for two nights. For this quality, right next to May Fourth Square, I truly think it's excellent value for money, especially with the high-floor sea view. 🛏️ Room experience: Initially, we were assigned room 1607, a standard king room. When we went upstairs, we happened to see the adjacent room 1608 (a corner room) being cleaned. It was noticeably larger and also had a sea view. I tried asking the front desk if we could upgrade for an extra fee, but to my surprise, they said it was actually the same room type. However, they acknowledged the corner room was indeed larger with a better view. They ended up coordinating for us to switch to it the next day. (A friendly tip for those wanting a corner room: prioritize room 08 on each floor.) 🙏 Warm service: The most touching moment was on our way back home. We were catching the high-speed train and were in such a rush that we didn't have time to go back to the hotel for our luggage. We had to call the hotel from the train station. The staff were incredibly cooperative, helping us hand our luggage over to a taxi driver, and it was successfully delivered to us in the end. This kind of crucial help really made a huge difference. 📍 Location: Vientiane City and May Fourth Square are nearby, within a 10-minute walk. Getting a taxi or taking the subway downstairs is also super convenient. Overall, whether it's the location, service attitude, room comfort, or value for money, this stay was a 99.9% success 😂. Next time I come to Qingdao, I will definitely choose The Westin again!

When checking out, Kimi was just as efficient, proactively asking about our stay and kindly reminding us to take all our belongings. Her service was consistently excellent from check-in to check-out. Kimi's genuine attitude, professional skills, and thoughtful actions truly demonstrated outstanding professionalism and the hotel's high standard of service.

The location is great and convenient for getting around, and the service is also very good. The only thing that was off-putting was the bathtub, which was rusty and peeling. 🤢

We arrived at the hotel during peak hours, but Kimi greeted us with a constant smile and efficiently handled our check-in. She patiently answered all our questions about room types, breakfast, parking, and local transportation, speaking in a gentle and clear manner, without showing any signs of being rushed or dismissive despite the busy period. When we made last-minute requests for room orientation and floor preferences, she actively coordinated and responded quickly, resolving our issues efficiently and greatly enhancing our check-in experience. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this hotel to other travelers. Our sincere thanks to Kimi for her excellent service, and we wish the hotel continued success in fostering more outstanding employees like her. For our future travels, we will definitely choose to stay here again and actively recommend it to our friends and family!

For my trip to Qingdao, I booked two deluxe suites for three days. The rooms were very spacious, the beds were huge, and the service was incredibly satisfying. It was a very comfortable stay and excellent value for money. MixC Mall is right across the street, and it's a short walk to both MixC and May Fourth Square. A truly great travel experience! I'd highly recommend the hotel for its facilities, service quality, and prime location. I'll definitely stay at the Westin again on my next visit to Qingdao.
