The room was neat and clean, with complete facilities. Although it's an older hotel that opened in 2010, it's generally well-maintained. The river-view room offered a broad and comfortable view. However, there was always a faint, somewhat strange smell, which might be due to an aging ventilation system. Also, there were several unidentifiable tissues in the ball pit of the children's play area. Overall, I was satisfied.

A great landmark in Qingyuan, with spacious and comfortable surroundings and convenient transportation. Highly recommended!

When booking, I only noticed that breakfast was included and didn't realize I had reserved a twin room. At check-in, the bespectacled gentleman at the front desk said it was a twin room. I asked if a king bed was available, and he coldly replied, 'No.' I then asked about bed rails, and again, 'No.' Every question was met with a 'No.' I bit my tongue and resisted the urge to cancel on the spot, a decision I regretted later that night. The beds in the twin room were less than 1.2m wide. Since I was traveling with a child and there were no bed rails, I had to use pillows to prevent my child from falling off, which meant there was no room left for me to sleep. Later, I checked my booking and realized there was a price difference between king and twin rooms. My question at the front desk was simply 'Do you have a king bed?' I never asked for an 'upgrade.' If the front desk staff had shown even a shred of empathy and mentioned the price difference, they wouldn't have just flat-out said 'No!' For a Monday night rate of 500, I got a TV from the last century, a bathroom that flooded, cheap hotel front desk service, and a breakfast equivalent to a five-yuan diner. I never give bad reviews to hotels, but you truly deserve this first one. It also serves as a reminder to myself not to be swayed by a hotel's fancy name next time, but to check the real reviews. Room facilities: Pretty standard. The view overlooks the river. The hotel has a kids' play area, but it's quite run down. Cleanliness: Decent, but the pillows are very average. Environment: The surrounding area is okay, and the hotel window view is good because you can see the river. However, the soundproofing is really poor; you can hear everything happening in the hallway clearly. Service: This was one of the most memorable hotel service experiences I've ever had. When I checked in and asked about breakfast, the staff didn't crack a single smile. I then messaged the hotel staff for information, and they just left me on 'read' – I was truly speechless!!!

The front desk upgraded me to an Executive River View room, which was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is a bit older; the lobby looks a little dated. The breakfast was pretty good, especially the congee – it was delicious!

Its location is superb, right by the river, offering breathtaking panoramic views from the river-view rooms. Watching the sunset over the Beijiang River in the evening and the city lights sparkle along the banks at night created an incredible ambiance. The lobby is grand and elegant, and the front desk staff were warm and efficient, making check-in a breeze. Our room was spacious and bright, with comfortable bedding and excellent cleanliness; the soundproofing was also great, ensuring a high quality of sleep. The facilities are comprehensive, with both indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, and a kids' play area, making it perfect for family trips. The breakfast selection was rich, and the Cantonese dim sum was authentic, with attentive service in the restaurant. While some facilities show a slight bit of age, the overall value for money is high. Whether for business or leisure, I highly recommend it and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Qingyuan!

The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities could use some updating. As for the amenities, the room could use smart lighting, the central AC needs a heating function, the showerhead should have adjustable temperature, and the appliances could be improved.

Overall, it's pretty decent. The location is great, the ambiance is comfortable, and the window view is excellent. Some facilities are a bit old, like the noisy bathroom door handle which disturbed my sleep. The food was just average.

An older hotel with somewhat dated facilities, but the hygiene is acceptable. It seems to be an older design, as there isn't enough surface parking and even less underground parking – nowhere to park at all. What's even more frustrating is that the hotel states it has charging stations, but they're all occupied by external ride-share vehicles, non-guests, and petrol cars. The security guards ignore the situation, and the front desk staff can only offer helpless excuses. The hotel management is really lacking! It feels like a one-off street vendor transaction…

After showering, the bathroom floor was a puddle, like a small pond. We brought our child to play, and the pictures showed a waterslide at the pool, but it was dismantled when we arrived. When I asked the front desk, all they said was 'sorry.' It was really disappointing. It's just a normal pool, and my child was very upset. The ball pit isn't very big, maybe about a hundred square feet, and it was chaotic with kids, especially the older ones.

Clean and tidy with a beautiful environment. Housekeeping came daily to clean and restock amenities. Dining and entertainment options nearby were all very convenient. My child especially loved the ball pit at the hotel and didn't want to leave!

The hotel facilities are a bit old. It has an outdoor pool and a children's play area, and its main selling point is being next to the river and a government building. You can access the parking lot and floors freely. The service and reception staff don't seem to prioritize the customer's best interests, which could definitely be improved.

It's perfect for a relaxing stay where you just want to unwind at the hotel. My parents and kids were very happy. It would be even better if the food at both the Chinese and Western restaurants could be improved a bit.
