"## Facilities: The facilities are very clean and modern. When I booked, it was advertised as having a Japanese design. This time, I booked a courtyard room, which came with its own small hot spring pool. It had a full Japanese garden feel, surrounded by lush greenery, and offered excellent privacy. It was autumn, and enjoying a drink while soaking in the hot spring on a rainy day was incredibly pleasant. It truly felt like 'a new rain in an empty mountain, autumn evening arrives.' ## Ambiance: The hotel's ambiance is excellent. The lobby is grand, with lots of natural wood design, and every corner offers a picturesque view. I bought an afternoon tea set, and sitting in the lobby bar was very comfortable. ## Service: The service here is incredibly thoughtful. Before check-in, a staff member proactively added me on WeChat. My WeChat butler, Mati, deserves five stars! She sent me hotel information in advance, explained how to connect to Wi-Fi, and provided full follow-up service. It was proactive service, so I didn't even need to ask. She was also incredibly responsive; sometimes, even when I asked a question at night, she provided timely service, which touched me deeply. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, they even gave us small gifts, and the complimentary desserts were delicious, so my family and I chose to dine at the hotel frequently. The service here is also delivered with a smile; staff members would proactively greet us whenever they saw us. The cleaning aunties in Building 2 deserve five-star praise; they even brought us a drying rack. I think the service here follows a very comprehensive SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), from helping with luggage when we got out of the car to proactively asking about guests' sightseeing and dining needs. ## Hygiene: The cleaning aunties did a very thorough job; I didn't see a single hair. The bath salts in the courtyard were also replaced promptly. The toilet was a smart toilet and very clean, which is great for someone with my germophobia. ## Dining: The breakfast was delicious! The muffins, rice noodles rolls (肠粉), and wonton noodles (云吞面) were all tasty. The mix of Chinese and Western breakfast options was very friendly. I just hope they can put a scale in the rooms in the future; I unintentionally gained three pounds! Thanks to the staff for their service. Last but not least, five-star praise to my butler, Mati! Go, Mati, you're the best! 🦆"

"Overall, I'd recommend Chimelong Qingyuan. Since it's relatively new, the rooms and facilities are all fresh and clean. The design is very thoughtful for babies and children, which is a big plus. The service attitude is also good. The animal shows at the zoo are excellent. Although the park doesn't look huge, it really takes two full days to see all the animals, watch all the shows, and play all the games – and even then, it feels rushed. The hot springs are actually quite good, but they close at 10 PM, which is a shame; it would be great if they could extend the hours a bit. It wasn't overly crowded for a weekend, but definitely avoid it during school field trips."

"I stumbled upon this hotel by chance and decided to bring my kids here for a holiday break. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, and the surrounding area is a bit unremarkable. However, the Qingyuan chicken at the farmhouse restaurant near the highway exit was genuinely delicious – it had a wonderful, authentic smoky and wok-hei flavor. The hotel has a huge underground parking garage, with very few spots available above ground. There are many rooms, split between Building 1 and Building 2, all with Arabian-style architecture. The hotel offers complimentary go-karting, which is a small track and probably only entertaining for kids, as it's purely electric. The Arabian costumes are only for women, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel is right by Lion Lake, and I got to see the sunrise in the morning. The air quality was great, which allowed me to wake up naturally with the sunrise – definitely a plus for the environment. The room facilities and linens were excellent and very comfortable. The young man at reception was very attentive, following up on our service after check-in. He even gave both kids a Haagen-Dazs ice cream, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a good stay! The only minor flaw was that the toilet had a slight odor. It would be better if it was flushed and then wiped dry after cleaning; that might help."

"Noisy corridors with children screaming and dashing across in the later evenings. Staff at breakfast dining room has poor service attitude, loud thrashing of culinary during cleaning the tables. U won’t wanna look at their facial expressions. Location of the hotel is near the wholesale areas which is not any near the main shopping area."

"The environment is quiet and beautiful, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Witness the beauty of the sun shining brightly, then the misty, hazy scenery of the mountains shrouded in rain. The cats and dogs at the B&B are adorable! 🥺 The B&B provides afternoon tea and breakfast, which are healthy and delicious. Eating it while looking out over the creek and bamboo forest feels so refreshing. The room was exactly as pictured, clean and comfortable. The shower gel provided was pleasantly scented, and there was even a projector!! Besides the remote location and the limited nearby dining options, there's really nothing to fault. The B&B owner was also very friendly and quickly resolved any issues. 😄 Before leaving, the owner gave me a small, practical gift: a delicate teacup."

"The hotel offers excellent value for money. Our family of four stayed in a quad room with two bunk beds. It's conveniently located right next to the attraction's visitor center, with hotel-affiliated restaurants and a snack street nearby. Parking is available directly in front of the hotel. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was decent, and the freshly cooked beef brisket noodles were particularly delicious. After an early breakfast, you can immediately head to the visitor center next door to buy tickets for various activities online, then quickly redeem them at the ticket machine before taking a shuttle up the mountain to enjoy the attractions. The internet signal in the scenic area was poor; despite showing full bars, the speed was very slow. Thankfully, the hotel's WiFi was quite reliable."

"The B&B is inside the tourist attraction Taihe Cave, so tourists who stay here can visit Taihe Cave for free. Although it is a B&B, the facilities in the room are better than those in a hotel. Because it is located halfway up the mountain, there is greenery outside the window and beautiful scenery. When you enter the scenic spot, there will be a golf cart to pick you up, which is very considerate. The dining is very comfortable, overlooking the mountain view, and the service is first-class🫶🫶👍👍"

"Yinzhan Hot Springs is an established hot spring. I went there ten years ago, and this time my family returned. The room had a slightly damp smell. I suggest placing a recycling bin for wet towels and robes outside the door. We had no place to store our wet robes after our soak, so we had to leave them in the closet. I guess that's where the damp smell came from. I really like the hot spring area. There are many pools, large and small, with various functions. The water is clean, and it's a real hot spring. My skin feels smooth after soaking. The pool is also very nice, with clean water. There's a 50 yuan coupon for meals, which is a discount for orders over 100 yuan. I didn't have high expectations, just to fill my stomach, but it was surprisingly delicious. There's also a daily special. On Tuesday, it was pickled fish for 28 yuan, which was also delicious. I was satisfied with the meal for less than 50 yuan per person."

The front desk staff were efficient and even upgraded us to a higher floor, offering fantastic night views. The room facilities are new, the bedding is comfortable, the hot water is quick, and the window-side sofa is very cozy. The breakfast spread is rich, and the freshly made rice noodles are authentic. The staff were also considerate during check-out. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Qingyuan."
