The hotel has its own private beach, which is really nice. The public beach gets super crowded on holidays, but here there are hardly any people, making it very relaxing. The hotel rooms are decent. The management and service, however, have a bit of a state-owned enterprise vibe to them.

This is an established, state-run guesthouse with a private beach and beautifully maintained gardens. My main complaint was the bedding; the mattress was incredibly hard, like sleeping on a wooden board. There's also no elevator, so if you're traveling with elderly guests, I'd suggest requesting a ground-floor room.

While the hotel is a bit dated, it's very well-maintained, and the quality is excellent. The actual stay was even better than the photos, very peaceful and comfortable, especially the linens, which looked brand new. I wasn't happy with the room I was initially assigned, but the front desk staff patiently helped me switch. I particularly loved the room facing the small grove of trees; it really enhanced the holiday vibe. The security personnel at both the hotel and beach entrances were also very friendly and welcoming. The only significant area needing improvement is the beach restroom; its door was broken and hadn't been repaired. Additionally, the benches in the changing area consistently had water and sand on them due to a lack of timely cleaning, making them impossible to use. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth revisiting.

I didn't have very high expectations for the hotel initially, thinking it was an older guesthouse, but I was extremely satisfied with my stay after checking in. First, the hotel's location is superb. It's only dozens of meters from the beach, and it even has its own exclusive stretch of sand, offering a truly private and peaceful retreat. Second, the hotel's interior is quiet and peaceful. Every room has a balcony, a feature not commonly found in other hotels, perfect for drying clothes or simply relaxing. Third, whether it was the front desk staff, the building managers, or the security guards, everyone was incredibly kind and personable, making us feel truly at home. Fourth, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options, and the restaurant environment was excellent. We still remember it fondly even after leaving Beidaihe. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and I'd love to come back again in the future.

The location is truly excellent, being close to Laohushi and with Qi Shi Lin nearby. There are also plenty of dining options in the vicinity. However, the room conditions were quite basic. The so-called 'special offer room' in particular was a corner room located furthest from the beach. The air conditioning unit dated back to 2004, and the dust was evident. It took at least half an hour for it to start cooling effectively. The room was tiny, and the chair was pushed right up against the bed, making it impossible to sit on! The management of the exclusive beach was decent; entry was restricted and required identification. Luggage storage was free, but chairs, umbrellas, and swimming rings all had to be rented, which significantly detracted from the overall experience. Late check-out was not permitted; we had to vacate the room by 12 PM.

The property boasts its own private beach, meticulously managed by dedicated staff. The resort grounds are quite peaceful. While the facilities are admittedly quite dated – we stayed in a villa and the room had a distinctly retro, almost 'old government quarters' aesthetic, a style that felt oddly familiar to me from growing up in similar environments – the service was truly exceptional. If we needed anything for the room, a staff member would promptly deliver it. Both the front desk and restaurant service were excellent. Everyone, from the beach security guards to the beach management staff, was incredibly polite and courteous. Over the few days we stayed, the security guard would greet me daily, which was a very friendly touch.

Upon checking in, we discovered the toilet in our room hadn't been cleaned; there was an unknown yellow liquid on it that a staff member tried to explain away as splashed water. The refrigerator also had dirty marks, and the walls were moldy. In the restaurant, waitress #020, a woman wearing glasses and on the heavier side, had an incredibly rude attitude, treating guests as if they were beneath her! At check-out, it was raining, so I asked the front desk to borrow an umbrella. The receptionist offered a disposable raincoat, but a supervisor in a suit had an appalling attitude and flat-out refused to lend us one. All in all, this stay was a significant downgrade from previous visits. We definitely won't be returning!

The room's facilities were a bit dated, but the cleanliness was excellent. The towels and bath sheets were soft and pristine white, which was very reassuring. It has a spacious balcony, which was a nice bonus. There's no elevator, and my room was on the third floor, but carrying my luggage up was manageable. It would be ideal if they offered luggage assistance, and extending the restaurant's operating hours would also be a welcome improvement.

The room was incredibly dated and worn, the carpet was stained and dirty, and there was a strong, lingering smell of paint. A special shout-out to the housekeeper from Building 24 for her excellent service. The outdoor areas were also quite pleasant. The absolute best feature of this hotel is its private beach and exclusive access to the sea. However, if you're particular about room conditions, you absolutely must avoid this place; you'll be severely disappointed upon check-in. It's truly in a very dilapidated state.
