The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right in the ancient town, just a 3-minute walk from where you get off, making it super convenient for sightseeing and grabbing a bite. Even though it's a walk-up, the staff were incredibly thoughtful and主动帮忙提行李 (proactively helped with our luggage), so service gets full marks. The room was clean and tidy, beautifully blending traditional Minnan ancient style with modern design – cozy yet stylish. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, so it was very quiet at night. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there was plenty of hot water. The front desk staff were really welcoming and even recommended local attractions and food guides. Overall, it's great value for money, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The experience was superb; if you're coming to Quanzhou, this is definitely the place to stay!

Service: The hotel customer service contacted me in advance, sending pictures with the easiest walking route and parking instructions. They even offered some local tips and guides upon request. The cleaning lady also left laundry detergent when tidying up, which was a thoughtful touch. Facilities: The hotel has a great aesthetic, and there's a viewing platform on the roof. The toothbrushes, tissues, and slippers provided are all high quality. For guests who are light sleepers, earplugs are available, really showing their attention to detail. The only slight inconvenience was handling luggage on the upper floors. While they do offer to help carry bags up, I ended up carrying them down myself to avoid bothering anyone. This is a common issue with guesthouses, but apart from that, there's really nothing to complain about.

The location is super convenient, right next to the Twin Pagodas, making it easy to pop over to West Street for food and drinks. The hotel itself is new and well-decorated, and the rooms are quite spacious. It's really great value for money. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Quanzhou. Plus, you can get some great photos of the stone pagoda from the rooftop terrace.

After comparing several options, I chose Yuanji and had a truly pleasant three-day stay. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to West Street, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's just a few minutes' walk from Kaiyuan Temple, and dining, shopping, and sightseeing are all incredibly easy. The facilities are well-equipped and clean, and the service is attentive. They added me on WeChat before I even checked in and were incredibly detailed and enthusiastic, answering all my questions promptly. They also recommended some authentic local restaurants and travel tips. They even delivered coffee from downstairs to my room. Overall, it's great value for money, and I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay. My trip to Quanzhou was wonderful, and I'll definitely be back!

For my New Year's trip in 2026, I hastily chose the Yuanji Hotel, and it was a pleasant surprise! The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were very enthusiastic. You can get a great view of the twin pagodas from the rooftop, and it's super convenient for getting around, being very close to Kaiyuan Temple and West Street.

Environment: The location is excellent, close to Kaiyuan Temple, West Street, and the Bell Tower, making it very quick to get to various attractions. Service: The front office staff were polite, enthusiastic, and thoughtful.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on the 21st, and it was a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, the staff had great attitudes, the location was superb, the facilities were new, and the price was very reasonable. It was a perfect stay that really enhanced my trip to Quanzhou. If I hadn't needed to meet up with friends and move elsewhere, I definitely would have extended my stay for a few more days. The room was very comfortable, with pretty new facilities, which was great. It's right behind West Street, and Kaiyuan Temple is just a few steps away.

The location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It's only about a 3-minute walk to Kaiyuan Temple and West Street, and Lin Zexu Memorial Hall is also quite close. On West Street, you can try many popular eateries that usually have queues. My tip is to go around midday to avoid the lines.

This hotel offers the best value for money in West Street. The location is superb, making it easy to get to West Street, Kaiyuan Temple, and great photo spots—it's just around the corner. There are many breakfast options nearby, and the hotel's coffee beans are excellent. They even provide special tea bags in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch!
