The hotel is tucked away in a quiet alley in the old town. Right outside, you'll find the Guan Yue Temple. The hotel's personal butler was very thoughtful, sending us a map of the area, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was great, and the rooms were clean and tidy.

Staying at Tianqingshe was the luckiest decision I made during my trip to Quanzhou! This Song-style elegant residence, nestled at the intersection of the old and new city, perfectly embodies the true meaning of 'tranquility in the midst of bustle.' It's a 5-minute walk to Guan Yue Temple, 8 minutes to Fuwen Temple, and a 'Xiaobai' bus stop right at the corner, making it super convenient for exploring the ancient city's sights and food, yet it offers a peaceful escape from the noise. The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the minimalist and elegant Song-dynasty aesthetics. Swaying bamboo shadows paired with a miniature water feature, and irregular window frames capturing the eaves of temples, it felt like a Song painting brought to life. Inside the room, the wooden furniture was warm and textured, and the ancient-style paintings and elegant decorations complemented each other beautifully. Sunlight streamed through the windows, and I enjoyed sipping tea and daydreaming amidst the greenery outside – it was so pleasant I didn't want to leave. Just ask the owner for recommendations – everything they suggested was delicious. **Accommodation:** The guesthouse has three floors, and the stairs aren't steep, so even seniors can manage them easily. It's incredibly quiet at night. The ground floor is beautifully decorated in an antique style, very comfortable, and has a tea room where you can drink tea or play cards. The guesthouse owner is extremely hospitable and always available to answer questions, making our stay very relaxed. The amenities are new, the disposable bath towels provided are of excellent, thick quality, and the tea is also very good. The actual place looks exactly like the photos on Ctrip. **Note:** If you're driving, the parking lot is about a 3-minute walk away (a slight detour due to road construction), but it's still very convenient. Highly recommend for travelers looking to explore Quanzhou at a leisurely pace and experience local life. It's suitable for families, couples, or those traveling with children.

A quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, and it was pure coincidence! I hadn't booked a hotel that day, so I was just walking around the area when I looked up and spotted this small entrance. I went to check out the rooms, and only a standard room was available! I was about to leave, but the young lady at the front desk was so professional and enthusiastic. I thought, 'A room's a room, why not here?' I was a bit worried about noise, since it's just a street away from the Guandi Temple, but my concerns were completely unfounded after staying there for two nights! I basically fell asleep around 9 PM every night and woke up naturally. The breakfast was also exactly to my liking. From now on, whenever I visit Quanzhou, if I can get a room, it's Tianqingshe for me!
