Quanzhou Hotel

This hotel is right in the heart of the old town, so it's super convenient for getting everywhere, but it's also a bit removed from the main crowds, which keeps things from getting too noisy. The hotel itself has a classic design, though some parts have been updated. The service and facilities are definitely worth the price. The soundproofing in the rooms is pretty good; I could faintly hear a noisy child in the next room, but I still managed to sleep. The Nanxin Building is better; rooms in the Donghui Building are a bit small, and with all the furniture, it feels a bit cramped. Right next door are the Nanqi Building and Citong Courtyard. The hotel provides a hand-drawn map, but some of the information on it is outdated.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The parking lot is also very spacious. They offer a free laundry room. I won't go into too much detail about the room facilities, as it's an older, established hotel. The only minor drawbacks were that the air conditioning wasn't very strong, and I found some leftover food from the previous guest that hadn't been cleaned up. There's an old vermicelli paste shop about 100 meters outside the hotel that's definitely worth trying!

The hotel seems to be a bit old, and the interior decor feels quite dated. However, it's well-managed, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The staff are also very friendly. The location is super convenient, with Tumen Street at the front and Hua Lane at the back. There are many trendy spots nearby, and it's only about a 7-8 minute walk to West Street. You could say it's the central hub for a city walk. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride from Quanzhou Station. Recommended!

This old-school five-star hotel still has a very grand exterior, and the location is absolutely superb. All the attractions within the old city are nearby, which is why I spent a long time choosing and ultimately settled on this one. On the first night, the AC wasn't working at all, and I woke up feeling cold. I casually wrote my request on a handwritten note, and to my surprise, a butler brought a heater right away. So thoughtful! The hotel service is incredibly responsive to every request, fantastic!!!

The room lighting is really just average; you have to turn on the lights even during the day.
