Sixiang Homestay (West Street Zhonglou)

I actually changed my hotel while on the high-speed train. The one I booked in a rush earlier was tiny, so I'm really glad I switched – this place is fantastic! It's so conveniently located; the Bell Tower is right outside, making it easy to get anywhere, and there are tons of food options nearby. The room is clean, spacious enough, and the bedding was just right, so I slept very comfortably. The decor is also very thoughtful. As soon as I arrived and saw the couplets and paintings by the entrance, I knew I'd come to the right place. The cutest part? The three little cats! In the morning, when I opened the curtains, a grey and white cat was basking in the sun on the rooftop just outside my window! If you open the window, it comes right over to rub against you and say hello! If I ever get the chance to visit Quanzhou again, I'll definitely choose this hotel!

I stumbled upon this gem of a B&B. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and the food recommendations were all delicious. There were also several adorable cats, all very well behaved and available for petting. The B&B is in a great location, with spacious rooms and new facilities. The tea room is especially wonderful. I'd definitely stay here again if I had the chance to visit Quanzhou.

The room was neat, clean, and stylish. The facilities were advanced and convenient, and there was even a cat to pet. The location was also great, across from Zhongshan Park and close to the West Street Confucian Temple. I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit.

The value for money is incredible! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet at night. I slept soundly. The shopping district is a 3-minute walk away, making it convenient for shopping and dining. Highly recommended! It's perfect for bringing children! The room is spacious, so the kids can run around. The kids were having fun in the inner room while we played in the outer room—completely separate, so we didn't disturb each other. The host was also very attentive, recommending travel tips and providing excellent service.

I absolutely loved the B&B I stayed in this time. 🫶 The environment was amazing—quiet and comfortable, with a truly homey feel. The owner had already turned on the air conditioning, and I felt relaxed the moment I entered the room. There was no sense of alienation like staying in a hotel at all; it felt like being at a friend's house. The location was super convenient for everything, whether it was to scenic spots or finding food—it was quick to walk, take a trolley, or take a taxi. My favorite thing about the B&B was the five big, fat cats! They were all so chubby and adorable. Before we arrived, the owner specifically warned us that some of them might be a bit temperamental. But during our three-day stay, not only were they not aggressive, but my mom even held them. 😻😻😻😻😻 I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Quanzhou!
