Quarteira Hostels

For a 3 star hotel this is excellent. We had to check out of our villa at 10am - but with a late evening flight home we needed somewhere to dump our cases and enjoy a pool somewhere for the day. We booked this (had to phone due to strange check in/out that we needed) we booked the room from 10am-7pm , obviously we had to be charged for the full day (80 euros) what a bargain! We weren't expecting much but we are pleasantly surprised (writing this sat by the peaceful pool ). Room is large and very clean - can't vouch for.comfort of bed as we won't be sleeping in them). This would make a great, value for money, base and you wouldn't be disappointed with pool and bar - we were feeling a bit deflated coming from a beautiful villa with private pool to a small hotel - but we love it! Staff are very helpful and friendly. If your looking for a good value hotel - this is it!

We spent 2 weeks at this hotel after a 3 year wait to get there! The hotel is in a fantastic position on the seafront. The hotel is clean, friendly and a really lovely place to stay The breakfasts were really nice, the evening meals ok but unfortunately every vegetable was done in garlic which was a shame as it would have been nice to have had a choice of veg without garlic. The choice of puddings was good and always plenty of salad choices with cold meat. The hotel had entertainment twice a week which was very good. There is an outside terrace outside the bar and it was great to sit out in the evenings. The staff were very helpful and friendly and especially Geovanni and Iago in the bar. (aplolgies if names spelt incorrectly) The rooms are quite small but adequate with a kettle provided. The first tea and coffee is free but they are not topped up after that. There is a fridge and a safe ad plenty of room for clothes in the wardrobe and drawers. We went with friends and had requested 2 rooms next door to each other preferably on a high floor. We got the two rooms together but on the first floor which was a bit of a disappointment but we could still see some of the promenade, the sea and beach so it was ok. The beds were very comfortable. There is mini golf on the roof on the 4th floor which was good fun. The resort itself is very nice. Plenty of bars/restaurants etc. There is a bus station up the road. Overall we had a great time and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Enjoying another great stay at the Quarteirasol. Assigned room 102 which is spacious, very clean and has all I need. English language TV channels a bonus too. Only gripe I have is the steam room and sauna facilities aren't open but apart from that all very good. Great location behind the beach, and a 15 minute walk to Vilamoura.

The first hotel has a rich Western breakfast, the second is suitable for parent-child travel a bit like Yalong Bay, the third hotel offers free parking, and the fourth hotel requires children under 12 years old to enjoy extra bed and breakfast for free. Each hotel in Europe is different. Please read the hotel rules carefully when booking. The hotel should belong to the first-line sea view, 2 minutes walk from the hotel's outdoor pool to the beach, 2 minutes walk to the casino, 10 minutes walk to the yacht club, of course, the yacht club can't drive in, only walk. Those who need to go out to sea can also book here, and a variety of rides are available. The yacht club is surrounded by restaurants and shops, a bit like Beijing’s Houhai, and very lively at night. The British have come here for a lot of vacations, so all English exchanges are no problem. Finally, there is a little twist, that is, at check-in, the hotel checks my order, does not show the child, only 2 adults. At the beginning, we need to pay a trampoline fee of 100 Euros. After communicating and checking the documents, there is no charge, and I directly change my order to 2 adults and 1 child. Every time I book a hotel, I will fill in the ages of adults and children. I have never encountered similar problems before, and there may be differences in each hotel management. However, I still hope that Ctrip can improve the order. Having said that, I hope I can help you.

The hotel Atismar does what it says on the tin. Great location, 2 minutes from the beach, bars, restaurants etc. 5 mins from main town, supermarkets. 15/20 minutes stroll to villamoura marina. Food, good selection, usual pasta, fish, meats, veg, cold selections etc. Breakfast good, usual selections too, bacon, eggs, toast, beans, boiled eggs, sausage (hot dogs). Bar area is abit small, but staff friendly. I reckon in high seasonnit could be crowded. Staff in general are all nice from reception to bar to restaurant. Room was comfortable n clean. We were on the 11th (top) floor so great views out to sea. Pool area was a little small (for high season) but obviously in November we didnt use it. All in all, nice hotel, great location. Worth the money

I went alone but never bored. I had a late check in and everything was spot on. I communicated with the hotel about my flight change and quick response they booked me a taxi which was there waiting at weeee hours of the morning. The cleanliness was %100 rooms clean I cannot fault. I enjoyed the bus ride, the Uber was ok. The area was quiet if anyone looking for closeness but the taxi price was good. There was so much to do. My last day went to the spa over by the aqua park OMG it was rejuvenating only thing was you have to pay with a discount if you are staying at the hotel., for 2 hours 25 euros I think it can be a little cheaper for hotel guest. But I am not one to complain it is a kids friendly hotel so expect to hear kids running around planning to bring my grandkids next time, I know they will enjoy it. Breakfast was ok, ate outside for dinner there is so much place to choose from. Just a Uber ride away. A big shout out to Bruno very good cocktail and he gave me tips of places to eat out side. Free parking behind the hotel, enter the car park next to the McDonald's drive through. Limited spaces. Parking on the pavement will get you a €30 fine. Walking distance to the marina, beach and plenty of restraunts, pubs and some supermarkets. Kitchen in the apartment is an induction cooker, microwave and a kettle. Some cutlery and cooking utensils provided. Buffet breakfast is some cold cuts, cheese, sliced oranges, melons and kiwi fruit, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled, sunny Side up and boiled eggs. Baked beans, saugages, bacon mushrooms and roasted tomato with cheese. Portugese egg tarts, raisin danishes, chocolate rolls, apple turnovers. White bread, wholemeal bread, croissants and some rolls with butter and some jams available. 3 Small lifts they can fit 2 persons with suitcases. Lighting mostly adequate in the rooms amd living area except for the bathroom which was too dark. Nice balcony area. In the evenings, it was cooler to open the doors than rely on the air conditioner.

The staff at Dom Pedro, Vilamoura are truly amazing people who take great pride in making your experience enjoyable. The location of the hotel is perfect. Near the beach but not on top of it, a short stroll to the marina with its many restaurants and bars, and just across the road from a Spar supermarket. The rooms are spacious, the beds soooooo comfortable and the bathrooms include shampoo and a few toiletries. The pool area is well protected from the sea breeze by a hedge and the massive lawns and gardens are well kept. There is an abundance of sun beds which can be used around the pool or moved into shaded areas if preferred. At breakfast there is something for everyone and individual needs such as non-dairy milk are catered for on request, nothing is too much trouble. Well done Dom Pedro you are a great example to the hospitality industry.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Tivoli Marina, Vilamoura from 15/5-22/5/23. We were also here in 2014. We would definitely come back as well ! No problems with flights nor transfers. Jet2 staff on arrival in the airport are very good at guiding you to the correct transfer coach. Checking in - we were given a room in the hotel that when we opened the door, we could tell already had guests! ( Shoes/items in the room). We went downstairs immediately to report the error.Thankfully, Hugo in reception got us a room within an hour. We had booked a sea view. There was not enough room in the fridge for our own items, but we managed.( I have to keep some medications in the fridge). Hotel is very nice. Breakfast is great with a wide choice. We also ate in Oregano; Peppers; Glee; D'Azur poolside and Argo cocktail bar - all excellent. We did not tell the hotel staff it was my birthday during the stay, but they must have noted it from the ID documents etc. I enjoyed a complimentary surprise cake and Prosecco with my wife. The staff in the spa are lovely. My wife and I booked the sauna; indoor pool and the jacuzzi for 45 minutes. It is complimentary for a resident guest. All in all a very relaxing place to stay.
