All very good apart from room not being cleaned on 2nd day hence wet towels

Excellent service

Stayed at the hotel on a B&B basis with my husband and another couple for a golfing trip. The breakfast had everything you could want - even made to order omelettes. We were on the 8th floor in a sea view room and the view was lovely. The balcony had a table and a couple of chairs and the sun later on in the day which would have been perfect to come back to but unfortunately the wind was a bit cold when we were there. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed and on my husband's birthday we came back to a bottle of Rose in an ice bucket and a large slice of chocolate cake with a candle in it and the table laid out with glasses and plates - a touch that was really appreciated. As all the restaurants at the marina were so close we ate in a different one every night. This hotel is in a perfect position and service and facilities were excellent. We will be back.

Great location and friendly staff, room cleaned every day and cannot complain about the free breakfast, it's free, located just off the marina, all rooms face the pool/marina. animation yeam there everyday even when no kids, all in all a great short break away

My self and daughter have just spent 4 days at The Vila Galé Marina and really enjoyed our stay.I had read a few mixed reviews for us it was great.Our room was modern and spacious and was cleaned daily with fresh towels.The location was ideal literally opposite the marina and close walk to the beach.We found the staff friendly.We only went bed and breakfast but that was tasty and hot and the food served for lunches outside was really tasty,we became slightly obsessed with the ham and cheese toasties and very reasonably priced.There was never an issue getting a sun lounger but I don’t know what this would be like in the height of August.There was nothing on in the evening entertainment wise but that did not bother us as I said you are so close to all the bars on the marina.I would definitely stay again 😀Only tip i would give is we stayed in room 622 and this side of the hotel never go the sun on the balcony morning or eve so not great if you that is something you like.

Rooms are clean and spacious with a good view overlooking the marina , and the hotel is in an excellent location only being a short walk to the marina 5-10 mins so can easily get to the bars and restaurants. And is also not a long journey from the airport.

We spent 5 nights in Vila Gale Marina for a golf trip and could not fault anything. The breakfast was standard but lots of options including freshly made omelettes. Beer was reasonably priced at €5.50 which for a hotel is expected. Towels changed daily and room cleaned daily. The views were also very good from the balcony it overlooks the pool and you can see the Sea a small bit. The hotel is literally 3 minute walk from the Marina so you couldn't ask for a better location. All in all I cant fault this place and we are already planning to return in 2026.

Hotel is average not 4 star. Breakfast good plenty of variety. Very clean rooms and public areas. Our problem was the large groups of drunken men and women that the hotel has no control over. A big group of large drunken women completely took over the pool area. Due to this I would not recommend this hotel....book a villa!

Will not return ! Full of loud groups drinking all day and hen do. Jacuzzi taken over for 8 days of our stay by men drinking shouting ! Kidds jumping in and out of pool no control no pool attendant! No chance if reading book and woken up 2/3/4 with nouse of drunks getting back in. Breakfast was nice and staff friendly! Reception rather miserable ! Bedroom was clean on arrival and beds made up everyday .

Hotel room was nice and the pool area and bar were good. Breakfast was a big let down. Food was average and the service was awful. Antonio especially was rude. Trying to fill up my bottle with water and he came over grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the water saying I’m not allowed water in my own bottle. Would not recommend staying due to the service from Antonio

We last stayed here in 2018 and couldn’t believe how dated this hotel has become, exactly the same as the first time we stayed back in 2012. We arrived early for our stay at 10am, as we entered reception area there was a smell like sewers, not nice at all (go to the crowne plaza if you want to smell a good hotel lol) this smell was there our entire stay. I have given 2 stars simply because they gave us our room early, otherwise it would have been one star. The reception area is dated and in need of upgrading with a better smell as you enter The lifts are not smooth and what’s with the silver duck rape around the outside of it? Same green carpets in the corridors, just disgusting and dirty The room furnishings were exactly the same, pictures, chairs, everything. Then comes the beds, ok if you like really hard mattress, you know when you put a sheet under the blankets in a child’s bed in case they wee in it, well these beds have that and every time you move the crinkle noise wakes you up. Bathrooms, well they’ve took the bath out, left the bath taps in and added a long shower hose that takes at least 5 minutes to warm up, the taps on the sink don’t hang over enough for you to get your tooth brush under. Very poor workmanship on installations, if a professional trades person done that in my house I wouldn’t be paying them. Food at breakfast was ok but basic again nothing had changed in the restaurant. Pool area is lovely apart from it’s windy. Hotels location to the marina is perfect This hotel may have been 4 star when it was built but I’d give it a 2 plus rating now. If you want a great hotel then domes lake is the best, booked already for next year to ensure I can get a room this time rather than leaving it and having to stay in a poor hotel like this. I would gut this hotel, rip it all out and modernise it and you would have a great hotel. Sorry this is just how we felt about it, never again Staff were very nice and helpful!

The best thing about this Hotel is the location. The Hotel needs a complete refurb. It’s clean but not a pleasant stay. We got stuck in the lift one evening. Two of our rooms had black outs for hours. The outside pool is lovely. The Spa is a definitely no, no. It was disgusting. Breakfast was lovely. Don’t go half board, the food was awful. I don’t go away to be served up fish fingers for my dinner.. not the price we paid. Finally one Girl at the Reception was rude and not at all welcoming. We would never stay here again!

Lovely hotel x very clean x up to date x comfy beds and pillows x spacious room x We had a Sea view room x great location x 3 minutes away from the beach x opposite the marina x lots of shops x Chinese restaurant right next to the hotel x mc Donald’s 2’mins walk x supermarket in reach x Thai restaurant down the road also x watching the sunrise/sunset was beautiful. Only thing I fault is the food, we did half board and it wasn’t worth it at all. Very basic food every single day
