Les Lofts de Buade - PAR les Lofts Vieux-Quebec

The location is really good. I can see all the tourist attractions in a few minutes on foot. However, at first glance, it was clean, but there was dirt on the blanket and pillow. Most of all, there was no hair dryer in the room, contrary to what is stated to have a hiar dryer. We called around 9:30 a.m. and asked for it, but contrary to what they said they would bring it to us soon, we waited an hour and called back and they said there was no manpower to bring it to us. We had already wasted an hour and a half, but we believed their words that they would bring it between 11 and 4p.m., so we left the room. When we came back to the room at night? Contrary to our expectations, there was no hairdryer. Besides, we had to do everything ourselves when we checked in and when we found our luggage. They just opened the door and did nothing to help. Location is good but their service and room size can never be recommended.

Stayed on top floor. Be prepared to climb 4 storey building as first floor is subway and room 101 is on 2nd floor. Spacious room, room needed a minor cleaning by window but overall clean. Comfy bed. My favourite was the location as it is literally 2 min walk to chateau frontenac and christmas market. Parked at 7 rue pierre olivier chauveau. There are couple more underground parking but this one had the highest clearance of 1.85m. Parking was $20/day. You can park few min to offload in front of the hotel when spot is available but be aware i’ve seen a car got a ticket. I walk slow and took me only 5 min from parking to hotel.

location is amazing. matress is so comfortable. All the pans and pots were in bad condition. In fact, we were happy with everything overall. But there was a huge weakness in the most critical thing. security issue Login is done with the passwords sent via e-mail. The entrance door and apartment door password were the same. This gave us the impression that the password for all rooms was the same. If you are told that this is not the case and that the password for each room and exterior door is different, this may not solve your problem. Because a homeless person slept at the entrance of the apartment building with a subway for two days. He was a very kind person. There is nothing I can say to him in life circumstances. But if he sees the 4-digit password lying there out of the corner of his eye, he will be able to enter the room directly. There is no extra lock behind the door. While you are inside, you still face the possibility of someone breaking in with your password. This issue made us uncomfortable. It made us ignore all the other beauties.

Wonderful location, great place. No grocery stores nearby. Place would be better without homeless blocking entrance by Subway restaurant and Loft entrance.

Perfect location in old town Quebec. Basic apartment with kitchen. Salt and pepper provided but no coffee. Not suitable for those with mobility issues. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

In a very good location, right in the heart of old Quebec City. Keypad entry to both inititial door, making it safe, and individual lofts, so no losing keys! The internal stairs are quite steep. Loft were a nice size, well equpped and clean.

Enjoyed the room. However, we had an issue with our reservation found out that we didn't have the room for 3 days and had to leave. Management was not helpful with helping us find a new room in town, or checking on us to see if we found a place to stay.

I attempted to do early check in 1:00 p.m., due to arriving early. They told me to call back later, which I did at 2:00 p.m. They told me we could not check in early because the room was not ready. When we went to check in at 4:00 p.m. we were told we could not check in until 45 minutes after the check in time due to no cleaning staff. I called back at 4:45 p.m. to obtain the entry code. I was informed they did not receive my douments, which I emailed to them a week before our trip. The male staff told me I needed to email my information to them before they would give me the code. I told them I did not have internet until I checked into the room. The staff continued to tell me I needed to email the information. I asked him to text the information to me and I could text my documents. The staff said he would send a text and he NEVER sent the text. I called back after waiting 10 minutes and got a different staff, female, who told me she would give me the code and to email the documents when I got in the room, and had there internet password, which I did. The male staff was rude and not helpful at all. We waited 4 hours in the Subway by the loft and had to leave because we sat there for so long. After leaving the Subway we stood in an alcove in the rain trying to obtain the entry code. We had been traveling all day and were exhausted.The male staff could have cared less. It was a frustrating experience. What horrible customer service!!!!!!!!!!

We were pleased with the space and the great location. Seeing the old city from the loft was so easy. Loved being able to walk to all the sights and putting our car in one of the lots close by for our 3 day stay. Any questions we had were promptly answered and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at Les Lofts de Buade.
