We all loved this place. The location was perfect for walking everywhere in Old Town. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had all the amenities. The owner was very nice and helpful. We had a view of the St. Lawrence River and it was fun watching the ferry and ships traveling through the ice. The perfect vacation spot!

Wonderful lodging, dramatic views, every detail was perfection. We were 3 couples, and all 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were very nice, unlike most “family” apartments with a great master and 2 kids rooms. We enjoyed wine on the rooftop deck at sunset, just popping out for pastries, being right in the heart of Old Quebec, then sitting around the big table playing cards at night or watching the boats on the St. Lawrence, it was perfection. Plus, Princess Louisa, 2 blocks away, was our favorite restaurant.

My Mother, sisters & I booked the St-Laurent 401 for our Mothers day get away. The accommodations were fabulous! Absolutely beautiful, very clean, lots of space, comfortable beds, lots of pillows, amazing views, unique feel, and just so pretty. Emails were prompt- Piere was here on our arrival and was so plesent! Gave us a tour and bit of history. It just felt perfect! Thank you for making our weekend away the best ever!

Great location, comfortable space for a large group and superior customer service make this a good choice. It’s incredibly spacious and well-equipped. Meeting Pierre was the “secret sauce” for our perfect stay. He was helpful, friendly and informative.

Excellent accomodations. Great central location with on-site parking available. Easy check-in. Friendly hosts. Clean, spacious, family friendly. The lower level suite is suitable for a larger family. Highly recommended. Would stay again.

Fantastic stay on all fronts, in over a decade of reviewing our trips this is only the second review above a 5. Why 7, well because it's significantly better than a 5 and 10 just seems trite. Where to start ... location's hard to ignore. Right on the waterfront yet steps from the best parts of Old Quebec. Since you're at the harbor, most every walk back to the property is downhill (to be considered with smaller kids). Although we didn't take advantage of it bc our kids are older, there's splash pad right across the street by the waterfront for the littles. The host is amazing, personable, full of helpful suggestions, and (rightfully) very proud of the property. Genuinely interested in where we went and if we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are VAST. Plenty of space for each family member. Spacious bathrooms, very large living room. Access was very easy. There is a rooftop deck which if we'd had one more day and if it weren't for the heat dome temps pushing 30 Celsius, we would have used more. Sounds like when the fireworks over the water are shot off in August, it's quite the vantage point. Our apartment stayed cool even in the hot temps. It likely benefited both from the east facing and being on a lower floor, but the large floor-to-floor heights give quite a bit of space for hot air to rise and be ventilated. The value is fantastic for what you get. Just unbelievably comfortable, couldn't have dreamed up a better spot for our first trip to Quebec.

The pictures don't do this lovely building justice. We stayed in 302 - a three-bedroom condo on the top floor. Wow. Just wow. The beautiful arched windows gave a spectacular frame to a lovely river view. The condo was appointed perfectly. We had five adults. Spacious, each had privacy and alone space, table is perfect for games at night. Couches super comfy, beds great. We did laundry a few times. We were greeted by the owner's brother (owner lives in building) and communication was prompt, easy and so appreciated. There is a parking lot for the building next to the building if you bring a car. Within walking to everything in the old city, lots of restaurants and attractions. We were there in winter, so didn't use the terrace deck, but it would be amazing in the summer! This was a GEM!

We are 2 couples that travel together a lot, and I have to say that Royal Dalhousie was the most fabulous apartment. We stayed in the Frontenac suite. It is so spacious and beautiful. Each bedroom was separated by a very large living area. Thr beams and brick walls are very pretty. We loved the location, just steps from many shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed staying in and watching the ferries and barges going up and down the river. Liliane brought in a live Christmas tree with lights for us to enjoy. This is the best I can't say enough good things!!

It was one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed. My husband and I, along with my sister and her husband, recently spent 5 nights in this beautiful apartment. Spotlessly clean . It is within walking distance of everything ( of course, the funicular helps with saving some steps ). We didn't use the well stocked kitchen because there are so many great restaurants, but it was nice for coffee in the morning and refreshments in the evening. The washer and dryer were a plus because you can pack lighter. Lastly, Liliane and Pierre were the BEST hosts.

We loved our stay at the Royal Dalhousie in the Corriveau apartment. We had no idea Quebec was such a large cruise ship port. We watched these massive ships come in and dock right in front of our building through the large windows in our living room. The Corriveau is very spacious. Note that the 3 bedrooms are not of equal size. Two bedrooms are ensuite. One facing the river, the other 2 bedrooms face the back empty lot. The 3rd bedroom is not ensuite and is much smaller. However, there is a 3rd bathroom/laundry room which can be used. Parking is plentiful. We had hoped to used the kitchen for breakfasts/ happy hour food, etc. There is no decent grocery nearby so you'll need to figure out how to get supplies if you don't come with a car. We loved the location and walked everywhere all over the city. As the Royal Dalhousie is in the lower town be prepared for many steep steps as you wind upwards toward the upper town/ Chateau Frontenac, etc. You need to be able bodied. Access to the rooftop terrace was great fun on pretty days. Apartment was clean but some of the furnishings are rather tired. Would definitely return.
Response from Property: Hello! We are super happy to read that you enjoyed your stay at The Dalhousie. Although, I am really sorry to see just now that the lamp was already broken. We caught it not long after your departure and changed it. We have also changed the tired stools for stronger ones at the same time. November is a time for us to recover from the high season and that is also usually ( we do it 2-3 times a year) when we go for a big tour to see what has not been mentioned or forgotten by our team. Sometimes, we're just so used to see something that we just don't see it anymore... Please never forget that when you come at The Royal Dalhousie there is always someone to assist you, even with broken stuff. We are always happy to help and have, pretty much all the time, doubles in our office/maintenance stock.
