Melbourne Lodge offered varied accommodation. I was booked in a double room with shared bathroom. The facilities were clean and modern. A guest lounge with kitchen facilities and an outdoor deck area with views across the lake and Queenstown.

Amazing stay at Melbourne lodge in Queenstown. The location is superb and the walk to the main downtown area is only 10mins though you will be walking uphill otw back. The room was spacious and well maintained, though take note that you will have to climb some stairs to access certain rooms but it was really a wonderful stay and we highly recommend it :)

The hotel is located quite near the city center but on a steep slope. Need much effort to walk up the steep footpath/road to the hotel. Not much facilities provided in the hotel. The worst is that there is no table/chair provided in the room.

Convenient location! Only 5 to 10 minutes walk to the cbd. From Queenstown Airport, take #1 Bus and get off at Blue Peak stop. It felt a bit damp but the room was clean and the service is good. Had a great stay!

I had a wonderful two-night stay at Melbourne House. The room was exceptionally clean, and having a sink inside was very convenient. The shared bathrooms and toilets were also spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained. There's a lovely communal lounge overlooking the lake with fantastic views, equipped with a microwave, oven, dishes, and cutlery, making it easy for guests to prepare simple meals. You can sit on the balcony just outside the lounge and enjoy your meal while admiring the beautiful Queenstown lake scenery; it truly enhances the dining experience. Indeed, this place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me when I lost my backpack and, with it, my daily medication. I was deeply touched by their kindness and want to express my heartfelt thanks. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!
