Overview
Once a promising establishment, the Fiesta Inn Querétaro Centro Sur now presents a disappointing experience that fails to meet basic hospitality standards. This review highlights significant concerns that prospective guests should consider before booking.
Accommodations
The accommodation quality was particularly troubling. Our initial room featured visibly soiled linens with hair and tears in the bedding. Even after receiving an "upgraded" room, we encountered similar issues with torn sheets. The flooring throughout the rooms shows considerable wear, with loose floorboards that no longer align properly, creating both aesthetic and potential safety concerns.
Facilities
The hallways on both floors exhibit neglect, with dirty, dust-laden carpeting that hasn't received proper maintenance. While the hotel advertises a swimming pool as an amenity, it was rendered unusable due to extremely cold water temperature—a significant disappointment for guests expecting this feature.
Staff and Service
Perhaps most concerning was the evident staff dissatisfaction that permeated the property. Employee interactions lacked warmth and enthusiasm, with team members appearing unhappy in their roles. This negative atmosphere extended to the restaurant, where buffet staff exhibited similarly unfriendly demeanors.
Dining
The food quality could be described as merely adequate—neither impressive nor entirely disappointing, but certainly not matching expectations for a hotel of this caliber.
